guys, i've problem starting my bike if i haven started it in like 24 hours, when i do so, i always pull choke, check my voltmeter for sufficient battery and then try to start the bike, however, i always get this sound like eaeeeee. And the engine doesnt crank, the sound is similar to like a engine dying (i dont mean bike engine, more like those engines you see in cartoon and the sound of it dying is like very dramatic). I've checked my spark plug but its fine and it only happens if i never start my bike for quite sometime. Any idea what the problem is?

my bike can start leh after like 5 days at my camp carpark untouch...but abit hard lah...must use choke...n isit a bad thing using choke???

if you leave 5 days never start, better use choke so start easier, if never choke you keep trying to crank will cause your carb to flood with petrol.

Honestly speaking,

 

are you even in a position to comment when you have not personally experienced what riding an Aprilia is like?

 

I have not commented on what riding a KRR150 or NSR150 is like because simply, I have not ridden it before.

 

So, in simple terms, do not comment if you're such an ignorant airhead or things may simply get rather nasty for you.

 

I apologise if the words seem a ittle harsh, but that is my opinion on whether people should make judgement without getting their facts straight.

Some kids here aren't quite done with puberty yet, and are not used to their maid talking back to him, much less an adult being harsh on their angsty teenage ears. Get a little rough on them and they crack. They weren't brought up the way we were in the good old times, being beaten to half a breath from death by our dads with clothes-hanging poles or a wooden stool leg. He might grow up given a decade or two.

 

Bottom line, kwyjibo is right, he's won. Let's end this at that.

 

guys...wad spark plug do u use for ur rs??? can i use ngk plugs??? n how long can a spark plug last... thnks guys...

 

I use NGK BR9ES and NGK B9EGV. The BR9ES can last for about 9-10months. The B9EGV can last me for over a year without requiring a change.

 

This is on the condition that your carburetion is optimal. A poorly tuned bike will require a spark plug change once every 3 months or less.

The carbon brushes on your starter motor might need changing.

 

if you leave 5 days never start, better use choke so start easier, if never choke you keep trying to crank will cause your carb to flood with petrol.

 

That's quite possibly the largest crock of BS I've ever heard. lol

I'll explain why in my DIY.

i flood my carb cause everytime i start i will also throttle at the same time regardless if whether the engine starts.
