Anyone interested to buy a bluetooth headset + bike-to-bike intercom + music player?

Read the review here.

Basically, this is the best model of bike-to-bike and rider-to-passenger radio intercom you can buy on the market. The range is claimed 500 meters, and in the review video, you can see the other party is almost 150m away, and that's pretty far, and his voice is still loud and crystal clear.

The speakers, even at a low volume setting, is louder and clearer than any other brand at maximum volume. The quality is unmatched.

A good piece of equipment to have if you like chatting with your girlfriend while touring. Or if you like to listen to music while riding.

And best of all, nearly all users have said that when they're taking a call while riding, the other party doesn't even know they are riding a bike because it's so quiet.

Only $259 for an awesome piece of kit like this. I'm getting a set for my girlfriend and myself so we can talk during our rides, rather than shout through our full-face helmets.

Anyone interested to get it too?

hey law..

ever consider the scala rider g4..?

few of the touring guys used this ans swear by them..

seems cheaper too...

cheers..

What you mean by trip? Engine just dies off like that?

The word you're looking for is THROTTLE not throttLER.

Did you meddle around with the carburetor before any of the issues occured?

Subzero was juz trying to tell you that the pink liquid is coolant. You dont have to go all anally defensive on him.. :|

The pink liquid is not coolant, >>>>> it's his bike's juice..........:smooch:

Hi Lawrence, this is Daniel. Thank you for the lesson on DIY. I just did a DIY again, did everything tat you taught us tat day. but this time i face some problem.

this was wat happen after My DIY:

It over heat and trip once while idling,(too rich or too lead)

It has a ticking sound everytime i turn the throttler.

I ride for a few round in the MSC, and it die after i stopped, and it can't start until now.

Saw some pink liquid under my bike the day we finish out DIY.

Do you have any ideas or exp with this problem?

Overheat might be too lean; might also be low coolant level, since your coolant is leaking

You can richen by:

1. using cooler plug

2. changing to bigger jets

If it's due to depleted coolant in your system, find the source of the leak, plug it, and refill your coolant.

If the coolant is leaking into your cylinder, you need to change the coolant seals. It might be the cause of the leanness - coolant in your chamber.

Sorry, can't help you as I am in Switzerland. Be back on 15. We can have a DIY in the afternoon.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Yes I have.

But based on most riders who have tested both systems, the Interphone F4 makes the Scala G4 look like a baby radio that parents use to listen on their baby while in the other room.

As I have stated, the Scala at maximum volume is still a lot softer than the Interphone at half volume. The Interphone is also a lot clearer (no distortion).

I guess its clearly a case of 'you get what you pay for'.

Hi Law.. cant make it on the 15.

Now bike can be start. but RPM keep running away.

Coolant reservoir checked, level didn't drop. (suspect will it be the coolant pump no working or fuel-air mixture too lead?)

Bike didn't trip on temp hi in traffic jam, instead it tripped at traffic light.

Are you asking if I was at Teck Thye, or are you asking if I will be at Teck Thye?

Wow, I really need to learn some Singlish soon. I'm having a really hard time understanding the majority of posts here.

Or maybe I need a lobotomy to remove half of my brain so I can speak and understand Singlish?

What does 'rpm keep running away' mean? Rising or falling?

To check if coolant pump is working, open one of the 2 bleed screws in your system. If the coolant flows out, it's working. It's also good to bleed it, maybe you can get rid of some trapped bubbles.

It could also be your air filter sponge not properly seated inside the airbox. I remember you took it out during the DIY. It was a TwinAir filter, right? Maybe the rubber manifold is not properly connected, allowing more air in, and leaning the mixture.

It would probably do you more good to drop the act and stop pretending to be interested and actually show up, than to keep asking if you can attend.

If you have better things to do, by all means, go ahead. But please understand hypocrisy won't go down well with me.

Bring an allen key set from size 4-12, phillips and flathead screwdriver, WD-40, residue-free solvent cleaner, grease, needle-nose pliers, and rags. You can pick up the compact cans, so u don't have to lug around the full-sized cans of solvents. Everything can be packed into your bike storage or a small bag.

It will be S$50 if you wish to loan any of mine.

Over the many years I have conducted DIY very few have the initiative to offer to pay for the solvents they use, tools they damage or accidentally bring home, and other items they have helped themselves to.

The S$50 is not for profit. It's just a penalty to discourage people from constantly taking advantage of my hospitality.

Yes, I was.

Anyone installed broquet on their bike? Reviews?

The secret to more power and better mileage is GOOD TUNING and PROPER MAINTENANCE.

I've tried Broquet before. It's 2 metal balls inside a metel mesh, that you put into your fuel tank, and its supposed to give you better mileage, more power etc.

No difference.

It's all psychological. So unless you need to feel better about your bike's performance and don't mind spending money unnecessarily, this product is not for you.

On a similar note, if you are thinking of trying out other forms of fuel additives, check this out.
