What does 'rpm keep running away' mean? Rising or falling?

 

To check if coolant pump is working, open one of the 2 bleed screws in your system. If the coolant flows out, it's working. It's also good to bleed it, maybe you can get rid of some trapped bubbles.

 

It could also be your air filter sponge not properly seated inside the airbox. I remember you took it out during the DIY. It was a TwinAir filter, right? Maybe the rubber manifold is not properly connected, allowing more air in, and leaning the mixture.

Bring an allen key set from size 4-12, phillips and flathead screwdriver, WD-40, residue-free solvent cleaner, grease, needle-nose pliers, and rags. You can pick up the compact cans, so u don't have to lug around the full-sized cans of solvents. Everything can be packed into your bike storage or a small bag.

 

It will be S$50 if you wish to loan any of mine.

 

Over the many years I have conducted DIY very few have the initiative to offer to pay for the solvents they use, tools they damage or accidentally bring home, and other items they have helped themselves to.

 

The S$50 is not for profit. It's just a penalty to discourage people from constantly taking advantage of my hospitality.

Previous mechanic may have cut and spliced some wires that he didn't bother to solder back, just used electrical tape to tape everything up, leading to current leaks. The list goes on...

Like the Bitubo steering damper, Marzocchi forks, and Gilles rearsets where I asked you if you wanted to order together to save on shipping, you said you couldn't afford it. But in the end you still ordered them for yourself on a later date.

 

You know, we could have saved a lot of money by sharing the cost of shipping, instead of placing 2 orders every time.

im the first ohlins (plug and play) to be installed 8 months ago in BIKELAB. Thamo and Joshua are the two mechanics installed for me. unless u can show me other bikes who already put on the bike before me. we ordered 2 btw.

oops sorry that was 10 months ago! hahaha. btw darkiller, yup that is the GIPRO healtech gear indicator. i tried other brand like the GP Chrono, this is the most accurate and least lag time already. about 240 including installation. u can get ur stuffs from alvin of MOTOVATION ACCESSORY, he is the distributor, or head down to HKL to get it. =)

so far i only seen 2 RS during track days in PG...was hoping to see more..

I can arrange a local Aprilia Cup but need numbers to justify..

at the moment SMSA race ,an Aprilia RS125 needs to compete in the up to 400cc series.. : (

i went there and waited for quite some time and didnt see anyone, i mean not like i know how you guys look like but i was kinda expecting a few dudes with helmets or some bikes parked at the carpark.

i left at about 8.40 and it was all stil empty.

 

i ended up packing some satays back home. :/

nvm, the satays are quite good for some consolation.

Hi Lester, as usual, the turn out was not as good as it looks on the thread, and since no one was going for the dinner, I wasn't going to order 8-10 dishes for myself. I didn't check the forum until today.

 

Just for future reference, if you give your word on something, it's good to keep your word on it. I don't know what kind of upbringing you've had, but I don't think its wrong to assume that integrity is part of what should be taught to all when growing up.

 

In my time, we didnt have mobile phones or pagers, and still we were able to keep to appointments despite making them weeks in advance. What is wrong with the 'strawberry generation' of today?
