so do u guys mean that the '09 version also can destrict the cdi in this way?

 

bro best way to check juz open up ur rider seat, shine a flash light or smth(i used my hp light) and see whats the serial no of the cdi. if its starts with 07100, then according to the guides, it should work. apparently it will work on other cdis as well(according to the guide). so yea juz chk out urs ah.

 

btw i used clear silicon to seal the thing back so will get a pic when i open up the bike again so guys who are intd can see what the "bridge" looks like. personally i think it looks like a toothpick. haha

The CRG Universal Supersport is £150, and if I remember correctly, shipping was £25 so based on the exchange rate at the time, S$380, which is on the high side.

 

I believe you can get this lever for about US$220, which is really cheap now. I just saw it going for US$199 at a bike shop in San Francisco.

 

Brake lever is Brambo RCS15 S$499 from Racewerks, but LAB is selling it at S$420 now.

 

Stuff was much more expensive back then. hahaha

Hi, all. WTB one rs125 2T pump... went to service today and found out my 2t pump is leaking, when releasing "black oil", it is not black but red....the black oil all mixes up with 2t already... no wonder 2t consumes so fast...

so far ive read: A quote: "Some guys swear by flatslide carbs, others at them. They do flow more air but throttle response and midrange tuning has more of an on/off temperament than a round slide type. It's a race piece, great for blasting out of a tight corner, not really intended for seamlessly smooth road manners. Otherwise, the OEMs would spec them for their road bikes. You could get lucky and get a flatslide carb that has just the right fuel curve straight out of the box. If not, it's going to be a ******* to get dialed-in."

 

also read that there is a higher velocity therefore being more precise at lower throttle openings? but at the same time seem to be harder to tune as there seem to be more flatspots thus creating a not as ideal street rideability with not as smooth low and midrange response?

 

any pro-carb tuners like lacrimosae give me insight on this? thanks

 

I was one of the first few to use this. It leaned out my whole mixture and my piston seized. More responsive than a standard 34mm carb but u need to be very careful in the tuning. Running fine now. Not recommended for newbies.

Busy with stuff bro.. It'd be nice to have matching gold levers though.. But aint gonna happen... The new RC15 is not compatible with the Titax levers that Motorworld was selling.
