I would say stop coming beyond 6pm everyday. He gets so tired working on bikes till late, he might make mistakes. This coming after 7pm business on weekdays started 1yr plus to 2yrs ago esp after he opened his new place and i hate it.

At what RPM? Maybe you can try to up your main jet 1 more size then. But best thing is get a 34mm carb mate. That'll give you a big boost.

His used one is donkey years old. You can get a brand new one for 300plus.. I think less than 350 from PJME. I have a 34mm carb, almost new going for $220. I'm not sure if he's giving you the manifold. Those cost about $60 from PJME i think.

 

Yes, you will have to change. A stock 34mm carb comes with 160 main jet as standard. Try that first and see how. Different bikes have different settings.

 

PS. There's 34mm carb for post and pre 06 models. While you can use both, it's better to get the one meant for your model.

Anyone interested to get the personified footrest? I bought it on last tues and is currently on my bike. The thing is the footrest heel guard is gone probably flew off while riding and replacement will be in a months time.(will deal only after the part is replaced) Any reasonable offers will be accepted. It's the standard 34mm carb. Not the flatslide. I've used both, and frankly flatslide tuning is abit more tricky. Both are good though. Better than the 28mm!

I think you have to understand that not only your schedule is taken into consideration but others as well.

 

You're having your own mini outings thru your DIYs are you not? Those are organized in accordance to your convenience.

 

If the organiser picks a date that is agreeable to most, but inconvenient to you, you can't blame him.

 

Personally, I hate organising these things. I rather come, have fun and leave. No work for me.

 

Very childish IMO if you're throwing a tantrum about this my dear Mr L. You're going to be like the Y generation you hate so much. Hahaha.
