Ah Seng is from 37 motoring. I have yet to try mah motors/first motors. Let's just say Ah Seng is the first 1 to bring up the problem of my starter motor being worned out. The other mechs/workshops I went to around my area all keep saying it's just the battery not charging.

Ah seng has moved from first motor to 37 motoring. Currently 37 motoring is at 1st level of Eunos Technolink. And if you bother to read the past 10 pages, i believe you shld know that he is one of the trusted mechanic here in terms of skill level.

bro i dunno abt Mah motor.... but as for 37 motoring.... Ah Seng is a very reliable and gives good feedback if you are willing to listen to his advice... i have tried a few other shops and personally i understand that Ah Seng has his strengths and weakness compared to other mechanics.... but my advice would be to try Ah Seng and see for yourself....

Yo lawrence, all these talks suddenly reminded me that not long ago, i used a steel brush which is used for cleaning rifle barrels to petrol clean my valve. And it seems to be leaving scratch marks on my valve.

Sth like this,

IMG_4461.JPG

So i was wondering, could steel brush be too hard for cleaning the valve? I was looking at alternatives like Brass brush as it's alot softer but i'm unsure whether it will ended up leaving any chemical on my valve.

Please don't use abrasives on your valve.

The valve has a layer of metal hardener coat to protect the alloy that it is made of. If you use abrasives to clean your valve, it will wear it down, causing the valve to vibrate harder in the port and increasing the likelihood of breakage.

You can use:

- plastic brush

- tooth brush

- sponge

- cloth

For slightly stubborn carbon build-up that the above cannot remove, use:

- dish washing scrubber (the rougher side of the sponge)

- brass bristled brush

NEVER USE:

- steel wool

- sand paper

- rifle cleaning kits (they aren't called valve cleaning kits for a reason)

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

The numbers refer to the number of world championships Aprilia bikes have won. Presumably when your bike was produced, Aprilia hadn't won the 2009 125cc title and manufacturer's title.

For those of you Spain's No. 1 RS owners who, like me, have been wondering what the 'Spain's No. 1' refers to, and why the original GP bike had those words on it sometimes, and 'Fortuna' other times (i.e. see images below), the answer is: "The RS comes equipped with the racing livery of Jorge Lorenzo’s 2007 world championship-winning 250cc GP bike, a Fortuna cigarettes sponsor that displayed “Spain’s No.1” in countries where tobacco sponsorship is outlawed." - Source: http://www.motorcycle.com/shoot-outs/moriwaki-md250h-vs-aprilia-rs125-shootout-89190.htm

Fack matey. My first recording went on for 25 minutes of our first session and was mainly of my sweet a*s. Some snapshots below. No kneedown monkey business for a noob like me (not yet at least) ;) I swear if the bike didn't break down I would've eventually been tempted to stretch the knee and bum out for a hint of scrapedy goodness.

My second recording was from the front fairing looking back. Snapshot below. Would've been great to see how much my head was moving around the corners, but the blasted recording lasted only 15 seconds before the battery died! I was swearing loudly yesterday evening when I realized this!!

4 all those tuning gurus out there, e slight pause juz as ur valve opens, issit due to e mixture leaning out, or richening up as e carb switches circuits? i hit near 1/2 throttle position 8k++ as my valve opens so from my understanding e carb is now running on e needle clip n atomiser settings after e slide n pilot jet settings... can e pause b eliminated?

the one and only...

Hello Aprilians,

This is my first post in this thread & i recently got Aprilia RS 125 3 weeks back from Mah motors and completed my first service.

I need your kind advise on tunning the bike for better performance.

1.I currently have stock exhaust and i have plans to change after market.

2.I am willing to install 34mm carb with 160 main jet ,pilot jet 40 and K57 needle.

Mah motors claim 2010/2011 model is full power and doesnt require cdi derestrictions. Is that true.Does this mean the bikes with new models are 33bhp by stock ? i guess it is only 11bhp right ?

I am looking for better accelaration and pickup and better torque. Will the above changes is enough or do i need to upgrade big bore kit too ?

If i change the exhaust to do i need to change to powervalues to fit the exhaust or will the stock one is sufficient.

Please give your expertise and valuable inputs.

Happy riding :-)

So is there any different in the performances or engine between 33 and 31 sticker?... and how come my bike can only run 60mp/h for the top speed and not more than that, is that normal for New Rs?.
