why dont you just get a new lever if your original is broken or damaged?

and it cost less than all these. unless you are going for the bling factor.

i wouldn't put a replica master cylinder onto my bike as you wouldn't know how safe it is. you certainly do not want it to fail on you when you need it most on the road.

and is the rearset of RSV the same as our RS125?

they are different.

if not, any of other brands are compatible with RS?

diamond race, personified, gilles, and many other brands make rearset for RS.

Just do a proper run in, and then wash carb and valve after your run in. You'll want to get a good setting after you finish your run in, and your valve might be jammed because of not opening too much, so these 2 things would suffice. Maybe change gearoil too if you're feeling rich!

Hahaha.. If you guys want to talk cock and chat, you'll know where we do it now. Away from prying eyes, and of course no desperate guys trying to PM you and ask you to meet up. Pathetic. I laughed my head off when i heard about it.

Hope the forum gets sorted out soon. Because all the rubbish that was being posted, looks like the thread also couldnt take it and had a seizure or something. :)

Mine is covered with carbon fibre sticker should be quite easy to note haha.. but I seldom goes there unless for servicing.. Anyway have tried asking them about changing the carb to 34mm and they quote me $700+.. Hmm quite ex from what I tot or rather quite far from my budget.. Haha

They're trying to rip you off. Not surprising.

You can get 2ndhand 34mm carb for $150 from Liquidy in this thread.(Even if it's old, it does the job)

Or you can get a brand new carb for $300plus from PJME and other online websites.

Do your homework, check out the prices, and be thankful you didnt fall for their tricks.

Advertisers hang around this thread as well, so it's always good to know your stuff and check out prices. :)

700 is a f**king rip off. Price of a brand new racing flatslide carb(not the normal 34mm carb) plus manifold is less than 200GBP. Second hand 34mm carbs can be bought for as cheap as $100(if theres a good deal on ebay).

I forsee a qn asking what is the diff between the racing carb and the normal one. The ans is that the racing carb has a flat slide compared to a round slide. And it has a much smaller(therefore less tension) spring, which makes the throttle alot lighter and therefore improves throttle response.

hey bro if u interested i got 34mm carb @ $180.. letting go ASAP! cause i scrapping my bike already

Posted
Bro, why scrap your bike ar? Anyway have pm you already about the carb.. Does it fit any rs125?

His carb is probably old and worn out. I suggest you get from Liquidy. Even though it's 2ndhand, he reconditions his carb and hands it up in excellent condition. And probably cheaper too.

Liquidy is always willing to offer a refund if anything is wrong.

Some people no money to mantain the bike have to resort to scrapping lor. :)

the carb can fit any RS but there is a difference in the old model rs and the 06 beyond models. the 06 beyond models use a vacuum suction for the fuel thus you need to install the vacuum tap to the carb. it is not very costly but try asking your mech for advice and pricing. for a carb selling at $180 it is pretty reasonable for a 2nd hand product. but if you want a new carb be prepared to wait for the shipment to arrive and the price may/will be doubled.
