Yup I agree that the price is reasonable... So Icezed's carb is the old models or newer ones?

I presume its the one without the vacuum tap. the tap is cheap and its easy to install but try not to do it on your own.Copy of vacuum tap.jpg

Bro, the vacuum tap is it the one that connects the carb to the fuel tank?

Hey guys! Been awhile since I last came to the forum. How's everyone? Anyway I have a problem now, there's a knocking sound whenever I move off. Seems like it's from the gear box. Anyone have any idea wats wrong?

A substantial number of posts have been deleted but the forum's paging system seems to recall the biggest number of pages from last time for some reason.

I find the Brake very good but during raining days not so effective... Not sure if its due to brake pad or tyres.?? anyone here feel this?

everyone will feel the same,bro.. whenever it rains, water will be on yer disc rotors, i practise this, while riding, ocassionally lightly tap yer brake lever so as to remove the thin layer of water away from rotors... even before u wanna brake, its best to lightly tap the levers for couple of seconds then release lever and brake again, yer brakes will be effective now as the layer of water has already been removed from initial tapping of levers.. riding in the rain takes some getting used to... u need to practise good judgement n how to gauge speed over distance.. i seen many bikes speeding in the rain and when its time to call for urgent braking, they squeeze the brakes, nothing happens then squeeze it even harder and still nothing n panic seeps in and then....

in fact , u can practise this in the dry, find a quiet carpark please, not the road, practise double braking, meaning press moderately then release and squeeze levers again... especially for our RS, we have a very good n efficient braking system n the best in the 125 market.. so u really need to get a good feel of it n learn how to modulate the pressure. I already seen couple of RS riders whom in an emergency, snatch n grab on the brakes n did an endo, bike spitting them out over the top...

I have in fact lightly tap the brake whenever its rains. but still feel that I really need to squeeze all the way.. Anyone knows the brand of the brake pad that comes with the bike? I thinking of changing another brand to see if it improves..
