wah u don mix up lei! 2-stroke bikes DON USE engine oil. we use gear oil. 2T is separate as well, like petrol, we need to fill that up when its empty...

 

my gear oil changed at ah seng 37 motoring was abt $25...

 

Erm, the 2T oil is under the seat right. The aprilia manual calls it the engine oil leh.

Then the gear oil is at the side one. correct right?

And plus can we top up the gear oil ourselves without draining the current gearoil? How often you guys bring it to the shop and change gear oil?

The 2t is the one under the seat. NO U MUST DRAIN OFF THE OLD GEAR OIL BEFORE PUTTING IN THE NEW. Pouring in new gear oil without draining the old one is as good as not changing.

Ideal is changing every 5000km.

Depending on how u tune I guess. It was 23-25km/l when I was riding my rs 06 model.

Hi everyone, just got my 2b lic and im looking to get either a rs125 or rs4. should be looking at a used bike unless i can't find the right one with the right price, i might go over to Mah Motor.

 

Just a few Q&A

 

1. anything to look out for before buying a used rs125/RS4?

 

2. which year does the rs125 face lift it's model? correct me if i'm wrong, it should be 2008?

 

3. does the current rs125 have any problem like the old one? eg. piston jam

Pistons usually jam because people stinge on good 2T. Or mix them wrongly...
