hmm.. bro ar.. first motor honest ppl 1.. so its the onli workshop i dare to leave my bike overnite.. dun worry.. budden price is kinda high compare to outside.. hmm.. look for ah seng.. hes friendly n quite skillful..

if you are using the stock milo exhaust, i think you are already getting

your top speed. Did i made this statement correctly? Correct me if i am

Anyway guys, I just got myself a rs125 , but like no power below 7k rpm one

 

on the expressway i find myself cruising at 4th or 5th gear

 

is that normal?

in anycase city riding on an afternoon even on an expressway may cause a high temp reading. there really isnt anything wrong unless u keep hitting da 90 degree mark often. dat shud be something to be checked. it might be a simple case of a faulty temp sensor. worst wud be the water pump not working. but i suggest u do my first suggestion above. get back to me if nuthin changes.

well i did what u said and still no go, so decided to pop by Mah yesterday, had the bike left there for an entire day, only managed to get it back today. True enough it was the thermostat giving it problems, it didn't regulate the cold water back into the engine, so basically it was circulating hot water consistently... i'm curious if i did i think my bike would have exploded but it still manages 85-90 degrees C. now i'm wondering if there's currently any damage to my bike, after constant hot temps.

 

but they fixed up the thermo and now everything's back to normal. My temps are back at 74 degrees C on e-way and 78-80 degrees for street riding. Feel so much relieved.

 

i love aprilia...its such a wonderful bike...

really whack my bike one lore, all the way up to around 11k to 12k rpm. 2nd gear and above. For the cone, that's what my mechanic say, he said mt previous owner modified wrongly and emptied the entire pipe, therefore no back pressure.

 

Any Y2K riders out there? What is your top speed? I cannot tahan only riding to a max speed of 130km/h somemore the feeling of the bike going to die alredy. To used to fast speed alredy, currently driving a civic SIR.

well i'm riding a 03 aprilia, and 130 definitely not the max speed, haven't tried any higher yet though.

 

i've heard frens who can hit 170 with the rs125

Wif milo pipe , i bike onli hit 145km the most....if wif RS pipe can reach to 170Km......Is ilegal to fit the RS pipe in SG, so i try my top speed at 2nd link.

suddenly changed to riding a 130km/h Aprilia..

since you can afford to drive an SIR, why don't you just fork out 300 - 400 bucks

to purchase a arrow to fit into your milo or simply just tong your pipe??

you really got to experience the power surge of the power valve man.

it sends both your hands gripping the throttle, bike pulling your hand

and butt sticking to the seat's back rest man... haha

Eyz, really so cheap meh? $300 to $400 to put arrow inside milo. First motor quote me $700 to do that. sh*t man... They think I CARROT is it.

My Civic try so far at malaysia is at 250km/h but your car must mod. If never mod sure buang. That's why u see many civic involving in accidents. The power is too great for it's shell.

yah.. it's not expensive at all..

a 2nd hand arrow pipe cost around $100 and the fixing of the pipe can

be done at Ang Mo Kio Wing Yap. And they charged around $220 for

the workmanship. Actually, previously you can buy a arrow pipe around

$50, hope you still can find it nowadays..

 

you know how the milo pipe restrict your pipe go any faster than 130?

it's cos of the structure of the inside of milo pipe. internally, it has some

sort of fins which doesn't allow the air come straight out from the

stomach, the fins will direct the air to go round and round and round

inside the pipe before the air comes out.. tonging the pipe is to remove

those fins/plate inside so that the air will come out directly, which

explains why a arrow/rs pipe is so small. the air comes out directly.

 

The RS pipe is different from the small pipe the new Aprilia is using.

hey guys...wanna ask huh...why my rs so diff to kick the gear...the damn gears are so hard to kick up....very very hard....and stiff...issit anything wrong...and also wanna ask where is the reserve tank switch?? i also donno....got me bike few days back only...damn painful man me left foot now...

hey pal were u travelling on TPE on thursday night? cos i saw a brand new aprilia rs125 with a p-plate on turning out on yio chu kang road. if that was u , i was the tuono which passed you.

 

the hard gear shifting is normal. i had that too and neutral is IMPOSSIBLE to find then, next time when u bring it down for ur 1k service @mah look for jeorj, tell him bernard on a tuono125 told u to, and tell him u have the same gear shifting problem, very hard and cannot find neutral i think he'll know then, prob be adjusting ur clutch cable. But for the moment suggest u just tahan la...cos its normal that its hard, change engine oil also no use, and Jeroj will prob tell u if u do that it'll void ur warranty.

 

and run it in properly based on the manual ok. if kiasu a bit go a bit further then u rev.
