You sure WEDA selling steel valve?

We were just at WEDA asking for steel valve and they said dont have. They only have original valve made from the lightweight alloy selling for $195.

 

They said they used to have the steel valves which are made in Malaysia. They're heavier and stronger, so if they get jammed, the cable may snap rather than the valve. Again, better to have the cable snap than valve....

But WEDA does not have any more of those fantastic Malaysian-made steel valves.

If you can get steel valves for S$140 each NTrust is willing to order 10 pieces. Cash on delivery, we're not joking about this.

 

I quoted Vik $170 for the original valve. Now getting the valve at $195 from Aprilia spare parts dealer... Sigh, looks like have to lose $$$ again...

Meeting some of the guys for dinner around 8pm. Venue is Jackson Kopitiam at Macpherson, right next to PIE entrance/exit. Come from East can exit Bendemeer then U-turn; come from West can exit Upp Serangoon then go straight. So far got Law, Jude, spiderman and me going. A few others not confirmed yet. All who feel like it and are free are welcome.

lawerance , regarding the steel valve order , need to wait for long long.. my current vlave neck ring jus chipp off a little last fri so i originally intending to get a original valve at $140 now increase price liao i thinking might as well get the steel valve... i wan confirm with u ,s the design exactly the same or the knife part buffer/filed...

Welcome to the Aprilia Riders Club (ARC)! You've joined us at a great time because most of us haven't been to the track, yet many - including me - are planning to go soon for their first session. There's a Pasir Gudang (PG) track session tomorrow actually, the details of which can be found on the latest few pages.

 

I don't think there's any reason to be intimidated by track sessions because you can take it at any speed you're comfortable. Many riders go there to just tour the track to get comfortable with the layout. Some even go just to watch so that when they're finally on the track themselves, they won't be unfamiliar with the surroundings.

 

Do you have the necessary riding gear?
