ya take care man...

for me.. when i encounter fish tail.. i'll just hang on the the rear brake and counter steer.. when the speed slows down.. i'll then release the brake and continue moving...

i remember once my whole bike turns 90 degree..

Hey guys, how much did you spent when you first bought your RS125? Please include (if you can remember) insurance costs and repair works (if any) you had to spent before it ran smoothly...

Why? Well, I am hoping to start working soon, so I actually have some spare cash for my 2b and camp my butt on a RS125. It would be great to have an estimate on how much I should save.

Actually, if it fish-tails, don't have to steer whichever way, the bike corrects itself..

In layman's terms, I'd call it a scrambler.. Seen it before, quite nice..

All Brothers,

Anyone just brought a new aprilia RS125 recently about less than a month? Just want to found out something from you? How much did you pay for the bike and does it comes with a Carsh Helmet Hook and Rear Mudguard Extension?

Actually I got my new bike two weeks back. But there is no Carsh Helmet Hook and Rear Mudguard Extension like it stated in the owner manual. At least if confirm by another person have I can go down and get my things back from them.

So anyone pls reply me fast fast.

Thank you.

I've got a Rear Mudguard Extension. If you want it, its yours for free.

As for the Crash Helmet Hook, they're quite in demand so they usually get nicked by mechanics.

That's the thing - I don't think I would feel confident on a commuter bike. On my XR200 I already scare myself by often braking too late, cuz I'm so used to my Aprilia's amazing brakes.

Be careful bro! Don't dwell on it, just move forward. I recommend you get some decent riding gear too. My riding jacket's already justified its cost by saving my skin and flesh.

I didn't have to repair anything, just spent about $50 to change gear oil and do a basic tune-up. Of course, my bike was only 1-year old with 3000km.

Welcome Alex! Please add your name to the Aprilia Riders Club (ARC) member's list so we can contact you for gathering, DIY sessions, etc. There's only one other MX125 rider I know of - his name's Dylan, the marketing manager at Mah Pted Ltd. Did you buy your bike new? Is it stock? How do you like the way it runs and handles? I'm sure we're always looking forward to seeing it. Outings and gatherings are usually announced both by SMS and forum posts.

I'm leaving for Phuket on the 18th.

Thanks for your well-wishes, those who wished me a happy birthday.

Didnt quite enjoy myself on 14th July...

Had a high fever and still was in shop till 8pm doing bikes and popping Panadols non-stop. Chris was pretty pissed about leaving late. I was supposed to leave shop at 6pm. We were so late we had to cancel our dinner appointment with the restaurant and go have a simple birthday dinner somewhere else.

Must be all the late nights.... *cough cough*

I have yet to get some medication for my trip.

Last night was rushing home after my dinner, fever prob made me delirious. Ran a red light thinking it was green, got chased by NPP and had particulars taken down.

12 demerits, and dont know how much $$$.

Not a good birthday for me this year.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Damn, I thought you were gone already or I would've looked you up :giddy: Please please Law, don't ride when you're sick, especially with a high fever, of all things. 12 points and plenty $ sux big time, but it's nothing compared to the danger. Are you working today? You'd better not be. It's false economising - end up prolonging your sickness only. Get an injection before you fly to Phuket.

That I agree.... I think if other bikes... is become skidded....on its sides. That is what I love about the aprilla, very forgiving.
