I'm ready to move my name to the confirmed list but I've got 2nd thoughts about the steamboat place - it's crowded, the food's only average, the food's not halal, it's hot and we can't park our bikes nearby. If others agree, I propose a change of venue. Suggestions include:

• Fong Seng prata/nasi lemak outside NUS in the West, where we can park our bikes next to our tables
  
• Changi Village in the East
  
• Wheelock BK/Lido Mos Burger/Forum Macs where we can park at the Borders open-air carpark
  
• One of the prata joints along Jln Kayu.

I'm ordering Lee Parks leather gloves over the Internet together with Law. If ordering through NTrust is cheaper, we might do that. Anyone interested in ordering with us? They have both long gloves for track and short gloves for everyday use. Cow leather is the weakest of all leathers, which is why MotoGP racers' suits are made of kangaroo hide. Lee Parks gloves are made of elk and deer skin. They aren't cheap, but I'm looking for gloves that will last. You got more questions, check the website, PM/SMS/email/call me.

NTrust's project bike - Law's RS125 Replica - is turning out very nicely. He tuned it up this morning and in terms of carb tuning, it's the best-tuned RS125 I've personally seen so far. Throttle response is incredible, and... it totally kicks my bike's ass. For more info, don't ask me, ask him when he gets back from Phuket.

Hey Chris,

 

Glad to know that someone else also spends on their girlfriend.. But gosh, it's a strain on the wallet when u dont have NS pay anymore.. When we meet up, you must give me a breakdown on good, affordable diamond outlets, I'm thinking of getting a diamond pendant.. Something simple...

 

 

As for my riding jacket, it's nothing much.. It's made by the company called SHIFT. Not sure if you've heard of it.. It's more of a MX orientated brand.. Even though i ride a sports bike, i like MX brands like No Fear, SHIFT, FOX, THOR etc.. Their street wear is very cool and nice.. My current gloves are FOX, thinking of upgrading soon though..

 

My jacket comes with the pads for shoulder and elbow, i jus removed them.. Yet to try it outside though.. Dunno about you, but i find the elbow pads kinda restrictive.. hehe..

 

Haiz, dunno when can meet up with you guys again.. Now that you have a normal working schedule, I end up working the graveyard shift...

actually...i personally prefer marina south....bigger space...jus maybe parking prob.... i was thinking you can park horizontally and maybe 4 bikes to 1 car lot... booking can be done...jus call earlier...

the parking lot is behind the whole stretch of steamboat places lor.. those open air huge car parks.. zheng fa is 12 bucks also..

 

if u guys wan centralised area with steamboat de got music and air con also got.. cineleisure got the yuki and yaki place.. not bad actually.. but i think its over budget for most ppl tts y i didnt state.. think its 18.90 plus extra $2 for free flow drinks and $2 for free flow DIY ice cream aft tt..

Update on the sup... just called and asked... the price i told u guys was 3 years from now... it has raised to 380 and now 480... the new batch of stock is going higher again! better get a serviceable one lah... don waste time with the oringinal one...
