It was a surprisingly large last-minute gathering just now - easily over 10 of us. Khairul even turned up in uniform, tie and all, before rushing off to work. It was great to see everyone. It also gave me a chance to talk with Derrick about spark plugs and spark cables. He seems to have had good results with Splitfire cables and plugs on his SP, and now runs NGK racing cables and plugs on his RS250. Oh yah, and now I finally know where Yew Tee is Thank goodness for streetdirectory.com.sg, heheh.

we will be meeting at the white card house at 9 am... go for some roadside makan first and slowly make our way down to pg... will try to play 2 hours if everyone can tahan the 1st hour...

DIY some adjustment to my carb on sunday...seems like my prob is gone, no flat spot, no engine die from idling, acceralation quite smooth.

 

Will be testing/riding over the next few days to check everthing out, once i happy, will share the jettings with you guys.

 

By the way, I using the $5 NGK plug now.

Good to hear that bro! There are few satisfactions than equal making your own bike sing. We look forward to hearing your road test report. Which $5 plug do you mean? Red-coloured-box racing B*EGV? BR*EG?

Haha..I dunno which one is that. But I will go back and check the box and let you know. I only know that till I completely satisfied with the jettings, then I will think abt whether to continue with the $5 plug or change to the $10 NGK plug.

 

As for iridium, I dun think i will change to that, my cruising/riding rpm is usually below 8500rpm and I seldom cross into the 10k range. Moreover, I also seldom get to ride hard during a hot afternoon, so I dun think I will suffer from "premature detonation" or misfiring.

Very nice. In fact, it's nice enough to go ahead and print, if everyone's in favour. My own comments are that it'd be nice if "Aprilia" was wider, and maybe more prominent that "Racing" Also, it should be "Aprilia Riders Club".,not "Aprilia Riding Club", and I think that if we want to keep the drippy-effect at the bottom of the letters, the font should be clearer and not so fancy. If you want to keep the fancy gothic-looking font, then it shouldn't be drippy-looking. One or the other, but not both, otherwise a bit hard to read.

I agree with Muser on all the points he brought up.. But I think we shouldnt have the drippy effect on the A.R.C part.. Spoils the effect on the Old English font.. Plus we're not some Halloween riding outfit so i find it abit childish.. But the Old English by it self is nice..

 

Have a few suggestions though.. Up to you guys to decide..

 

1) Do away with the Racing Aprilia across the lion and just leave it as it is.. Put it elsewhere on the tshirt

 

2) Replace the Racing Aprilia with Aprilia Riders Club.. Basically they switch places.

 

With the other suggestions Chris made, I think it'd be perfect! Logo looks power!

my bike from what my friend said vaulve jam or either power cut, tried to whe***e on the bike but cannot.

 

can lift bike but cant .....

 

oh well, i think must service my vaulve ? then see hw.

MS is a sponsor, not a aprilia mascot...

 

actually, lawrence got a nice design.. the 1 with a half sprocket...

 

the arc more or less symbolise our club's name initial ARC..

 

anyway.. i'm fine with anything.. i too have no objection of going ahead to cut the design for our club logo.. just kick start it and hope things will get better as time goes by, rather than leaving it hanging..

 

and who knows, one day everyone come up with their own personalise ARC design...

I sorta like the lion paintwork on the 05 rs125 and the RSV.. Tat'd be a nice background for our logo too..

When I looked at my needle, main jets, idle jets.....there is a diamond shaped logo with the "INC" word inside the diamond shape thing. Anybody here knows what brand is this "INC"? And where can i get other sizes of "INC" jets?

I don't think blood dripping from the fonts is such a good idea for a bike riders logo.

Just my 2 cents...
