Hi people,

sent my bike to NTrust for servicing this afternoon.

In fact, my carb is 34 mm but Law said it's not much use since I use milo pipe.

So, I'm thinking to switch to 28 mm, but prev owner nvr giv me stock 28 mm carb.

Any of you hav 28 mm and interested to switch to 34 mm ?

I thinking since I service the carb anyway, might as well change it,

save petrol consumption.

Petrol nowadays..... very ex......

Anyone interested ???

wacko> yeah, that was a friggin lovely bike but it's so exposed and I'm no so keen on the way the engine is mounted. I think in a lowside the bike would get very badly messed up as there is nothing to protect the engine. The option of sliders isn't much good either as the way they mount is not very sound in my opinion.

And as for cleaning those darn pipes... talk about a pain in the butt!

One day I'd like to get another streetfighter bike but something based on a sportsbike with an alloy frame. Maybe an old gixer done up.

xiung> why don't you switch to an arrow system then?

I have a 28mm carby which I'm not using for the time being. I can pass it to Law and you can use it on your bike so long as you leave the 34mm with him as an exchange item. It was in good working order when I replaced it with the 34. It's been sitting in a box since then.

Lastly, I would probably like to congratulate you guys on starting something.[/b]

For me, racing refers to the track, though people may indeed get it wrong. The word "racing" really comes from Aprilia's use of it in their logos. I doubt anyone who meets us in person will mistake us for boy racers, though I confess that I'm, er, usually fairly brightly dressed. Still, it's something for us to discuss further.

Don't congratulate us, join us instead! No reason to watch from afar.

Eh, you're younger than 27 and complaining about age getting to you affecting your balls? :bounce: Then at 28 I might as well go and die already :faint: though berukblue did suan me in SBF's guitar thread already. And Axxis and SafetyCar can retire liao.

Yes, having access all day long is a bonus but I think I'd rather be at the track with the others than sitting here.

A big ditto to that. I'm online in my cublicle almost constantly, but I'd rather be wired to my bike. "All systems online captain, do you wish to engage?" "Red leader to blue leader, we are approaching the apex and locking bike into full lean." Ok ok, must be the caffeine in this free office coffee getting to me :giddy:

Eto.... hmm a 34mm on a milo isnt a bad thing... had it on whilst my old bike was still around and it served pretty good.

A 28mm gives you accurate throttling in my opinion but a 34mm gives you full bore of the bike...

As for fuel consumption wise, I am really not sure.. it all depends on the jettings you have at the moment...

*34mm I think was stock on an Extrema/Replica?*

Of cos not a 400....... (if i were to be overtaken by them... I'll sell the bike and cry by the road side)

But gotta admit, the effort they put into the 600s is simply amazing. Was trying out a suzuki 600 the other day, a tad heavier, but the handling and power bands was quite amazing and you gotta admit, that was created to chew 250s on small tracks.

with good skill u can compensate that and i did saw a 250 on par with a 600 on the straights in pg... both r racers on race bikes... 2 stroke still have its potential if u mod it correctly....

Hmmm sounds pretty interesting.... well, I'll have to bring it to track one fine day to see what its worth after I;

1) Have a spare set of track fairings

2) Enough cash saved

3) Renewed my insurance policy

4) Gotten a full suit and boots to match

5) install an arrow system

6) changed to Super Corsas

7) Find on the map where the track is situated

8) Confess my sins

9) Say good-bye to my loved ones

10) Gain back the courage

HAhahaaa~~~

Cheerio for the info mate.. thankS
