this sunday sepang motogp anyone going?

AN650L3 (current): All mod transferred.

SW-T400 (till oct 13): voltmeter, safety features disabled. coocase v36+remote. Adjustable, folding Brake levers. Givi AF318 windshield. on-off switch(pilot light, head light, hazard light), electrical seat unlatch,Dr pulley.

AN400K6 (apr07-dec11): side deflectors, J Costa variator, Dr pulley slider + HiT clutch.

YP250, RVF400/RS250, NSF125.

vic dun liddat shy lehz hahahaha quicksliver actually i will discourage u from buying from shop. price wise is super high. however they provide reloan so if u no choice then shop lohz. problematic eh mine now haf lots of problem but with those problem i still enjoy riding it.... hahaha

xxes123.....just now the mechanic poured water all inside my bike and went for test ride.......he said its okay not because of rain....but thanks for the tip i'll try that....hehe usually when my bike died....i panick and never try to clutch in or whatsoever...my only worry is to get to the shoulder lane hehe

 

Lobster....confirm coolant eh???? i smell...no smell like water....i see....really plain like water....i taste!!!! IT TASTE LIKE WATER! heh....the jb guy surprisingly was okay but i suspect sure got internal injury....his body flund backwards like 90's and land on his front eh....but he die die dont want to go to hospital sia...he just want go back johor..he said now he dont know how to go back....no moto haha....actually after the car bang the moto...and he fly...and then the moto starts coming my way...i was just looking at the motor for like 2 sec....until i realized it was gonna hit my bike..thats when my flinstone feet came into action haha

 

Berukblue....were u riding that awesome aprilia with the...erm..was it full face on????? haha cuz throughout the 1.5 hours i was there...only one aprilia pass me by......

 

Eyz....if its the carb then thank god man....so i should set to a rich setting??? is that turning the screw clockwise or anti clockwise?..yeah there is an airbox on the right side of my fairing but 1/4 is covered cuz that day i open my fairing..and when i fixed back...i ****ed up somewhere

wah so happening... so many things happened today! anyway, rossi clocked 1000km today! wooohoooo... and it took me only 1 week. power anot...anyone wanna challenge clocking milege? oops... :giddy: .

 

seriously, at the rate i am going, i am sure by 2 yrs time...i can reset meter and probably near to 2nd reset. ahhahaha...

 

edwin, faster get ur bike out and run in lei....rossi wait until 1000km le...now he drags a little already....but honestly, i no more confidence to open valve and chiong le..always have that piston jam phobia :cry:

 

jus now along bukit timah, got 3 cars like racing with each other. i think becos all of them fetching girlfriend wanna show off. then i "chap" one leg in...hahaha. i stayed quite close behind to watch show..but at every junction i get the last laugh..when i roll past their cars seeing all of them stuck behind the queue. thats one benefit to biking. hehe.. but seriously, if bike didnt overhauled, i think might join in the fun...but rossi is still happy when he rolled past the 3 cars. :cheer:

 

haiz, so many things i wanna change....chain,brake fluid,spocket,brake hose,brake pads...and my paintwork! hahahaa..if i have money sure go do everything nice nice..this lining of mine always gets me stopped at road blocks. jus now at east coast jus got stopped. :sian: waste time only..

 

4 more weeks till sch holiday! prepare for 2 months of non stop outings! :goodluck:

but at gear 6.....5 rpm....i can touch 70km/h...so you are still eligible to get on the e-way...but better stick to the left lane...anything at least you can still roll to road sh quickly.... :cheer:

cb like that nevermind......then police come, ambulance come, TP come..all come then ask me....are u okay? are u injured? are u involved in the accident too? i said no...my bike just broke down 1 hour ago....then cb all laff at me....

Then I suggest you either find a mechanic who can do the job for you and offer to pay him reasonably to get to the problem of the problem. When you say "overflow", do you mean a flooded carb? I don't think there's any reason for your carb to ever flood if tuned correctly. You need your spark plug removed to check its colour. You say your mech changed your jets ("bullets") but there's no guarantee that he put in the correctly-sized ones. The colour of the inside tip of your spark plug will help you tell if the carb jets are correct. Always carry at least 1 extra spark plug with you at all times, and try changing your plug if your bike dies, as xxes123 suggested. Don't be scared of your bike, keep searching till you get to the bottom of the problem. It can be done, though it may not necessarily be easy.

 

By the way, as eyz mentioned, it may be useful to find out if your airbox has an air filter inside. If it doesn't, it's easier for water to get into the carb, causing it to die.

muser......i saw the spark plug just now..it was okay..wasnt shorted or anything....hmmm any good mechanic u can recommend me? and how do i find out if there's an air filter in my airbox?...yeah the carb overflowed from the sides.........it has happened a couple of times before...but lately ever since raining season kicks in...been happening more

I heard you doing it at Sin Boon.. I got my bike fm there.. Not really in that good condition.. The guy who do the 4 stroke bikes.. Ah Han or wat dunno his name.. is damn good.. the rest suck la bro..

 

My brother is a regular at Sin Boon so he gets good prices, but he only trust that one mech.. I dunno whether it's the same guy.. Always wear grey tshirt now..

But what colour was the spark plug tip? It's the colour that gives us info, not just whether it's fouled with petrol/2T or worn out. It should be dark brown, ideally. Your carb overflowed from the side? As in from the overflow ports? I don't think it's supposed to do that at all unless there's something wrong with your carb float, throttle cable, etc. And I don't see what the rain season should have to do with it :giddy:

 

The only way to check if you have an air filter is to open your airbox to see. As for mech recommendations, check out the workshops listed in the ARC forum.

If the bike seller has totally paid for his bike then you will have to find a bikeshop who will give you a loan for the bike. You can go to pretty much any bike shop and look for the best deal or get financing from a company like Hitachi Credit.

 

If the bike seller is currently still making payments on the bike it's best you return to that shop and "reloan" the bike by getting insurance cover and transferring the bike and loan into your own name.

 

Some people simply get insurance cover and continue paying the installments on the loan (COI) without changing the bike owners name as this will save money but it can cause problems. You will also need some form of legal document stating that the bike will be tranferred into your name once the payment of the loan is complete. I wouldn't advise this option though it can save you a few hundred $$$.

If it looks like a mini bullet, I think is the float needle or float pin...(i only remember the shape, and cant find the proper name on the parts list)

 

If it indeed is the float needle/float pin thing, it helps control the float, and if that is spoilt, might be a reason why you are experiencing overflow.

I am not a mechanic, I might be wrong. So, please check with others!

I'm leaving EARLY on Sunday morning and coming back straight after the race on Sunday evening.

I believe this bike got switched plates.. NOt really FW, was an F dunno wat.. previous owner retained the original plate i think..
