Anybody interested in a bagpack big enough for a fullface helmet which is also meant to store a fullface helmet in the first place? Cost 130. I've already talked to the distributor and we could arrange for a discount if there are 10 orders or more. Cost $130. Hop down to SportingMotors at Mah Pte Ltd to take a look at the bagpack. In my opinion, its a good buy. U may or may not like it but hey, its worth a look.

me thinkin a tank-bra can put a full face oso?

That's 2nd party. 3rd party does not include fire and theft.

juz got my fren to check for me the price of a fs plate rs 125 from his bike shop.. machine price is about 2500... is it considered expensive??????? or cheap???? and i also would like to ask hw much would the insurance cost foor a 18 yr old p plater???????

Actually I think it consider cheap but that's if the bike is in a quite good condition! I sell my FR plate at $2500 already. So an FS with reasonable condition should consider cheap. Insurance wise I think it's going to be expensive but you will have to check with shop to confirm.

2nd party is the local term. There's actually no such thing.

There's

- COMPREHENSIVE (ie 1st party in local slang)

- 3rd Party Fire & Theft... or TPFT (2nd party in local slang)

- 3rd Party (This is the only correct one you all got)

And that's all there is to it.

Oh sorry! Wrong info. I think there's no 2nd party cover. 1st party which is also call comprehensive cover and 3rd party got 2 type. One is 3rd party cover and the other is 3rd party fire and theft cover. Just check my insurance policy only.

there is still the 4th type... those by shop fire and thief ... meaning the the policy is only purely 3rd party only by the insurer eg NTUC, MITSUI,AIG ,ETC but shop say they cover for u fire and thief by the shop.... dun fall for this cos its only a verbal agreement between the chopper(shop) and the carrot...

they will not fulfil their agreement cos no back and white and its against the LAW cos they are not licenced by GIA to do underwriting.... u pay more but cannot claim from REAL (eg NTUC) insurer in event of fire and thief cos the REAL insurer didnt recieve ur extra $$ in the first place...

adjust the rocker arm?? no no.. ya adjust the screw where the cable goes thru into d 2t pump compartment.. jus like our brake/clutch lever.. there's a screw for ya to adjust the setting..

loosenin the loop means leanin the 2t intake.. as there'll be more freeplay..

if i remembered correctly.. turnin the nut anti clockwise, which is unscrewin the screw will lean the 2t and vice versa..

there's a reference mark on the rocker arm.. jus try to adjust accordin to the reference mark.. [/b]

Haiz...

Chin Kuan - clockwise to lessen 2T, anti-clockwise to increase 2T.

Last time when you were giving well-meaning advice, you made the same mistake... hahahaha

When you turn the screw clockwise, you tighten it, lengthening the 2T cable, thus pushing the rocker forwards, and hence lessening intake in relation to throttle position.

When you turn it anti-clockwise, the cable is shortened, bringing the rocker back, opening the intake bigger so with less throttle, the 2T flow is still higher.

Think you better check your own 2T intake, you might be lessening too much. Better be safe than sorry, check now or join the 'Run-In Club'. Woo, what a riot.

hey u sure anot? i heard jus overhaul when running in engine, you mustnt use a good 2T because they need to seal the piston ring thingy...dunno la....but everyone told me that.. oh something to do with lousy 2T doesnt burn easily...u need that for something...ask alex to clarify.. :cheer:

2T is not meant to burn. It's role is to stay in the engine to coat the walls and piston as lubrication....

okay this morning....raining...and it happened again...the bike died....out of a sudden ...but this morning i got whacked the bike..go until 5th gear then died.......but today....a more terrible experience...the bike cannot start back...i had to tow...

so seriously....what do u guys think is the problem???????????? i need a clear cut answer so i can solve the problem so i wont be afraid to ride my bike..... :(

Could just be water in the carb.

By the way, no matter how badly jammed a valve, dont need to open block to remove. Else have to charge labour for opening block. Usually a few simple tools is enough. Contrary to common belief that you need the Rotax valve removal tool, or have to remove coolant reservoir, or knock out from above, you dont! You only need a couple of readily accessible tools you can find in your father's toolbox.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

An update for those those who want to ride up to sepang. Servoprax will be up there and he's going to be with the Aprilia agent in KL.

What we're planning is to meet up with them either in KL itself or outside SIC, and convoy with them in. I would prefer if we went in with them as they have parking space reserved inside the SIC compound itself (probably close to their display booth or something), and we won't have to park our bikes outside with everyone else. The downside to this, we're going to have to leave much earlier. They're moving out from KL around 845am, estimated to reach sepang about 10am.

I'm thinking 1-2am is a better time for us to leave singapore. It will give us time to take a slow ride up and take a good break for breakfast before meeting up with the KL people. I know this might exclude some people who can't make it, the only option is for you guys to play catchup or meet us at SIC.

Lemme know what you think and we'll discuss this at the meetup tomorrow night.

i thinks its a good idea too...im in.... :thumb:
