thank heavens my gearbox wasnt busted.. total cost estimated 1.5k all 8 replaced to high speed bearings, conrod changed, coolant pump changed, n 1 of the gear shifting thingies which was so damn small costed 200+ thank god out of 3 oni 1 is worn.. den shd be abt it oreadi

This is not neccessarily true... Some of the earlier FQs also use the 123 rotax if i'm not wrong.

 

Benquin, wat is your bike no. plate? Mine is the 6000 series so it's 122 rotax. Anyway, best thing is to check for yourself or ask a mech whether your engine block is 122 or123 rotax. Look for the serial number..

Glad your bike is up and running fine.. I know how it feels to be leaving your baby at motortiam for a long time and finally getting it back..

 

So the problem was the sidestand thing that eyz predicted? Glad you got it fixed.. Just wondering, did you have a look at your old clutch plates before they were replaced? Were they extremely worn out or wat? Due to hard wear and tear on the track is it? Also i'm surprised you replaced the pressure plates as well.. I remember Lawrence telling me that they are usually quite tough and dont wear out so fast. Again, i suppose track riding caused this?

 

I wont bother asking about asking about the price... I'm sure you spent a bomb, but it's worth it to get your bike back running well..
