Benquin, wat is your bike no. plate? Mine is the 6000 series so it's 122 rotax. Anyway, best thing is to check for yourself or ask a mech whether your engine block is 122 or123 rotax. Look for the serial number..

rotax 123 = 1L of gear oil

 

rotax 122 = 600ml of gear oil

 

My bike is 122 rotax.. but was previously using a 123 rotax block which was hampering my poor gearbox. tat's why during overhaul i change back to a 122 rotax block and gearbox as my bike is built to suport 122.. Any bro, this is irrelevant..

 

What i am saying is that i have heard that the earlier FQs follow the FN and FP in having the 123 rotax..

Old plates were worn but can still see the lining. I had a friend whose plates were so worn you could see areas of shiny metal where there was no more lining at all!

 

Pressure plate can get away with not replacing, but wear and tear made it less than 100%, and I want my bike 100% The old pressure plate lasted for 2 years already. Yup, track riding is hard on your clutch; that's just how it is.

 

As usual, NTrust price was quite cheap, so my wallet doesn't hurt much. The main cost was the clutch, which had to be changed long ago anyway, heheh. Maintenance is everything when it comes to our bikes, otherwise might as well not ride an Aprilia.

no wad i want to find out is whether isit all 122 rotax engines oni use 600 ml n 123 rotax 1l or its subjective so i guess tis subjective rite

What is the shifter fork?? Bro, i dont think you can consider yours an overhaul. lol.. Nvr change piston, block.. just all high speed bearings ah.. Fierce..

 

anyway, thanx for posting.. After my exams, i going to open a thread in ARC forum with our overhaul bills.. Still havent got eyz to decipher my entire bill..

 

Just 1 thing though.. i checked my bill from FM..

 

Conrod-$150

Bearings(1set)-$70

 

Maybe since you use high speed bearings more expensive.. but looks like they eat quite abit for conrod.. And you know FM also, not cheap..

urs all 1st hand parts rite? coz william gave me all brand new frm ideal.. overhaul is considered whenever u open up ur engine.. wah lan 1.6k for overhaul when i duen ven change piston or blcok not even the piston ring argh.. but he gimme free tuning he sae after run in go there he do for me coz i put the arrow
