Congrats for obtaining your license. We all have worked hard to get it. Now its time to get a bike.

 

However, I need to know what is your objective in posting this question here?

 

You do know this is Aprilian haven, dont you?

Are you expecting us to tell you why you should get an Aprilia over other bikes?

I refuse to be drawn into any 'Why Aprilia is better than other bikes' sort of discussion.

 

Since what you want is comfort, I suggest you get a TA200 Phantom, which is what I'm getting soon.

If you are looking for bike reviews, you may find them in the 'Bike Specs & Reviews' Forum.

You can also do a search for reviews on the NSR150, KRR, TA200 and Mito Cagiva.

Come on, dont depend on others for everything. The search function is there for a reason, for self-respecting people who are serious about finding things out for themselves.

 

Mito and Aprilia riders have one thing in common. It doesnt matter that our Italian bikes are high maintainence and high level of discomfort, all we care about is THE RIDE. We love the way our Italian steeds handle corners, the way it looks, the way it sounds. Regardless of the high upkeep, we choose to stay with our bikes because of our LOVE for them.

That's it, and that's all.

 

If you're asking for a review on Aprilia's handling, I'm sure many of us here will be glad to tell you more about it. Well, as long as you ask the relevant questions.

hehe contracts, how about the lil Tuna aka Tuono?? keke. shd be comfortable for a guy, it's same make as rsv just exterior diff, a street bike look actually...ask bk think he's the first & other tuna rider i know

Yes, HK is THE food and shopping paradise.

The last time I went was in March this year. It was a business trip but I surprised my gf with a ticket at the last moment.

I simply called her and said, "Pack your bags, dear.... You're going to Hong Kong."

She didnt shop much though. Maybe storing power for Round 2.

We spent most of our money on food. Local cuisine, dim sum, some rare toys, some apparel for her, biz suits for myself.

 

Hope it wont be too cold in Sept. Its abt freezing point in HK now. I hate being in the cold. This time I'll be flying straight to China after HK. Which means bike gets neglected again...

 

Rach and Lass, I highly recommend you meet up with the whole Aprilian family for initiation (think Sopranos). Just meet and get to know who's who in person.

anyway just wanna say, i was at claymore hill, beside shaw centre on sat, i saw this pretty lady sitting on her 125 replica.. i then went up to chat with her, saying that i ride a aprilia too and asked her whether would she be interested to join a group of aprilia riders for rides together or gathering.. she agreed..

 

i then gave her the website and the link to the thread.. oh yah she told me she owes 2 aprilia, a replica and a y2k... cool lady she is...

 

but so sad.. the forum had been down since the past few days..

just hope she'll pop by in the forum..
