don't know reserve can go how far... nv try b4

so much? how come mine 150km to reserve liao..... :giddy:

Wat petrol u using huh?

The problem is not you can afford it or not, is how are you going to make yourself able to afford it.

wah 150?? sama sama leh...

i normally can only clock 160+ to 170+ to reserve..

full tank minus the reserve is around 10L..

so i normally clock 16+ to 17+ km with every litre of petrol...

but the last time i top up and i calculated my mileage..

i only clocked 14++km per litre...

anyway, i'm using a special pipe... which explains for the high fuel

consumption..

'd sent my bike for servicing and will be collecting it back later.. asked

the mechanic to see whether is it possible to change to a leaner jetting..

hopefully still possible... i dun wanna my piston to jam too..

haha.. i seldom wash my bike 1... cos it's always under the canvas...

probably i'll wash it bimonthly...

hehehe

new setting...

My full tank and take me 230km. Recently found out the hard way - ride till its dry.

Usually when going downslope i'll cut my throttle and clutch in, let RPM drop to 1,200. Only when my speed start to drop will I re-engage my gear.

I use Shell 98, with Silkolene 2T - $17 per bottle.

I usually wash my bike fortnightly because I keep my black project under wraps...

haha The bike cover keeps the polish on.

Where to wash?

I wash at my void deck, where there is a tap to fill my buckets so I wont have to carry 2 pails of water all the way from my home. Only need to carry 2 empty buckets and soap/wax etc downstairs.

Other times I go all the way to Tiong Bahru to wash my bike with another friend of mine who rides an R1. He and his friends all ride big bikes, usually meet at Tiong Bahru and clean bike together. Share bike-cleaning tips.

My friend is also very good at cleaning chain, so can learn from him.

eyz, siewsphone, divine ponytailz, meet up to clean bike sometime...

Cheers!

my main tank can go about 230km MAX...haven't tried how far reserve can go. usually i go about pumping when i'm at 210km

**HELP**

not sure if its suppose to suck, but what do u do when u hear the sachs shocks start to *creak*?

it is sounding like a old door hinge creaking at the moment, and i'm not so sure what to do about it, is it a symptom that its gonna go? it gets worse with a pillon onboard....helps?

My shock creaks too.

Prob the bushings in the swingarm needs cleaning or greasing.... If they're sealed bearing, then hor sei liao....

No issue for me coz my bike is 6 yrs old and they only recently started creaking. Probably due to my hard riding too.

If you're bringing your baby for a checkup, pls let me know and I'll go with you.

Thanks.

ok ask some suspensions gurus from a car show, they've mentioned there's not enough grease. so basically take it off and apply grease the creak will disappear
