About spectator attendance, I have to re-confirm. But all of us should know that Malaysia has ALOT of Enthusiasts thus entries are likely to be first-come-first-served basis.

As such I would like those interested to put in their names and confirmed payment of RM50 per rider or SGD25 to me. Pls confirm your names by Friday. Late entries not entertained.

I will try to book a limit of 10 from SG subject for approval by MotoMilia but i guess if we make payment ASAP, I don't think it would be a problem.

-----------------------------------------------------

1 more places guys..... once filled up. MotoMilia will be informed. If we have more than 10, I will check with them again. Subject to MotoMilia's discretion and decision. Hope you all understand.

If anyone decides to backout due to reasons of confidentiality, there will be no refund after payment made. Pls find your own replacement after that so at least another rider has the chance to go up to Sepang.

Payment will be collected by this Sunday or when MotoMilia has approved of our 10 slot booking that day which-ever is earlier. Any further queries pls call, pm or use whatever method to reach me. Im available most times.

-------------------------------------------------------

Good News for all !!!!!

Update from Malique direct. 10 slots for us should be possible. Only Aprilia and Motoguzzi bikes can enter the track.

So payment to be made by Sunday evening. Lets meet up either Saturday or Sunday latest probably at KFC Kallang. Pls call me 9826237 for personal arrangements if you cant meet the timing.

---------------------------------------------------------

08 April 2006 Update :

MotoMilia has replied with regards our accomodation. All we need to do is to gather a budget for the whole group and they will assist us in getting a good deal with the hotels there either in Sepang itself or KL city. This is definitely good news. A big thanks goes out to AmeeHalim of Motomilia.

As spoken at Kallang, we will meetup again to discuss the budget for the hotel. Tentatively its set at SGD45 per person for one night, breakfast inclusive where possible.

Hopefully by 22nd April we can confirm so that MotoMilia can help us to book. Our hotel would typically be at the Sepang Area for logistic reasons.

At the moment we have 5 vacant slots for riders playing track after I have broken down the group. Come join us. Its not often we are doing this.

If budget is your concern, then I would say overall SGD200 is sufficient for a relatively cool 2day trip with a little cash to spare.

Im extending the dateline for additional riders playing track till next weekend, say 17 April. So add on the list pls... The first 5 names have been confirmed.

Enquiries via PM or calls only pls. 98226237.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Latest Update 13April2006

MotoMilia has provided us good value for hotel stay.

This will tentatively be the place to stay. http://www.empresshotelsepang.com

I will be collecting SGD40 for the hotel. Any balance to be refunded to you definitely with receipt to prove. Those who can pass me the cash pls do so via bank transfer. Appreciate it if you can transfer by 20April2006

I will be going up to KL on this coming Friday and would be meeting Az to pass him the initial booking fee, etc.

Important:

Those who intend to backout, pls do so now bcos if by 17April I still see your name, I would expect that payment (hotel or hotel and track if still not paid) still be made cos I would have already paid for all of you (in the list) by then. POSB Savings 120-90393-4. Pls call me after you have done the transfer.

Any queries let me know via direct call. SGD200 for a weekend fun, not to be missed. :)

-------------------------------------------------------------

Updated as of 13 April 5pm

Have recevied quotations from the other hotels. As such, will be staying at Empress Hotel as stated above. SGD40 per person. 5 rooms will be booked but likely 4 will be utilised on the day itself.

Arrangement will be made to allow our bikes to be parked in front of the lobby. Do bring along your locks however small it may be.

Reminder : Payment by 20th via cash or bank transfer. No cheques pls:) Special arrangements pls let me know early ok.

So we have probably finalised everything except moving out timing. FYI MotoMilia will only be open up til 1pm on Saturday as confirmed by them. May have to move out even earlier if you want to go shopping at their premises.

Clarifications if needed to be done on the 17th upon my return from KL. Will be away from 14-16April for a charity ride.

Az: Jumpa kamu Friday nite ok... will call u.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Update:

I have already sent sms to those playing on track. Name, address, phone, plate num and email address. Need it for the registration. Email it to [email protected].

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Update:

Thanks for the email on your personal info. Details have been sent to MotoMilia for processing.

Hey guys,

I recently did a top overhaul at First Motor.. I'm using a VerteX piston kit. It was recommended to me over the ProX that First Motor usually uses for their top jobs..

Can someone pls tell me in what way is the Vertex better than ProX? besides pricewise?

Vertex - $200 (FM), $180 (Ideal)

ProX - $150 (FM)

And also, need some advice regarding run in.. I was told by Ah Seng, not to exceed 100km/h and 9K RPM for the 1st 1500KM.. So far, i've done abt 300plus.. Never exceed 7K RPM..

Any other procedures that are recommended for run in?

Pls post ur comments in the link if possible..

machine price at $600? So cheap?

yeah only 600 cause it's almost 10 years old alr. coe needs to be renewed. i'm planning to probably get it, then rebuild the entire engine and change to legal arrow. after adding all up 600 + 800 (COE??) + 1000 (overhaul??) + 750 (legal arrow) = $3150 it's about the same as getting a y2k model except i won't have to worry about engine since i've overhauled it and added a legal arrow. :cheer: :cheer:

Bro...COE is only 200 for 5 years and 400 for 10 years.

However, rebuilding the entire engine will take more than 1k.

And not to mention the first few months, the rest of the parts may give way as well.

But well, if you dont mind spending 3k+, plus a lot of time and effort vising Ah Seng, go for it man...

If you like it, just do it!

oh. the 800+ is buying a new COE? renewal is totally different price ah? okok.. hmm i don't know man. 600 seems like a very good deal. will have to take a look at the bike to judge how's the condition like i guess. if was to rebuild the whole bike (non-cosmetic) like everything frm the chain, sprockets, forks, suspensions, starter motor etc. what's the total damage. must know the prices so i can calculate if it's worth getting it or not..

Your friend must have memories of the yr2000 still. Now is 2006 n MAH PTE is the Agent for Aprilia. Parts are easily available cause I changed quite a number of parts on my bike-03 rs125.... n I dont see a problem getting any.

For those who wants cheaper bikes, just an advice... is there a one month warranty for 2nd hand bikes as MAH PTE... I m not promoting for them but it is a fact. So u pay a bit higher for a warranty or just buy n risk any possible problems.... Aprilia RS125 bikes have quite a high maintenance n if maintenance is neglacted, bike engine condition wont be as good n wear n tear parts are the normal things u need to change. To own an Aprilia, u can ride 160km/h with one hand.... that is the stability of this Italian bike. Either u love it or u just Hate it...... good luck.

Wait till I achieve my objective.... I will be back with a more powerful engine and a more sexy bike......

I went to Sepang with Ambal (RVF) n Spiderman (RS250). We had a good time n Ambal had a song for success... If u want to win a race, ask him to teach u n maybe u will win 2nd place like him.....lol

This 29th Sepang trip, I would suggest we go up at about 2am from 2nd link. Travel at night is better because there is lesser vehicle on the road n the cool weather will be less stressful for our tiny 125cc engine.

Traveling speed should be crusing at 7-8k rpm constant at about 100-120km/h. First petrol stop will probably at Air Hitam which is about 90km from 2nd link GP esso. Next stop at about every 100km ride. During my last trip, the 3 of us did onli 2 stops on the way there but coming back we did onli one stop at about 200km from Sepang n rest for about 20mins n all the way back to Sin. The journey isnt as tiring as it is except for rain all the way from KL back to Sin..... However we were crusing at about 130km/h all the way with occassional 170km/h sprint.... My engine is fine n temp onli at about 67-72 degrees.

If all of ya decide to travel at day, good luck to u with all the cars n the sun. I will suggest to go at 2am but if anyone wants to strain the engine by travelling at day, I will meet u guys there instead.

Wait till I achieve my objective.... I will be back with a more powerful engine and a more sexy bike......

Trip to Sepang... Those going, go buy a battery operated portable fan which can be cliped like those mothers use for babies on the cradle. Sepang pits dont have fan n I tell u... IT IS SUPER HOT. Those going as spectators, bring along a foldable umbrella as well. Bring sunglasses. Bring rain coat.

Change gear oil b4 the trip. Trip to Sepang from GP Esso 2nd link is about 377km. Bring extra 2T cause I used up 1.5litre for the trip to n fro.

Wait till I achieve my objective.... I will be back with a more powerful engine and a more sexy bike......

i do agree wit dannis and also wit u alan..

traveling at 2am to Sipeng is defenately a good idea..coz

-can avoid traffic in the morning

-hot wheater

-hot temp on ur bike

-less tyre wear...hehehe!!!!

but..be aware of

-don't fall asleep while riding...

-bike breakdown

-tyre puncture

-misc...

like alan said..why not travel at 7 or 8 or 9pm...im also agree wit that...

-NO body will fall asleep at that time...ekekeke!!!

-not to boring while riding

-mayb can reach to Sipeng-e.t.a 12am if depart at 7pm

or around 2am saturday..if depart at 9pm from there..

my Question is..

-if u guys reach Sipeng at 12am or 2am saturday morning...

where u guys gonna hang out?

mayb can lepak2 at the R&R somewhere UNTIL 7am saturday morning to

check-in..

and i prefer u guys wearing ur suits (for those who travel wit bike) while riding and bring ONLY a few tees and 1 jeans is enough..dont forget ur underwear too..:cheeky:

but if there's a car following u guys...

can put all ur things in it..

Yo bro..

Wanted to ask you this for very long.. I notice you guys got alot of Aprilia gear on your website..

But no Aprilia full suit? Like the ones that the Aprilia riders wear on the offical aprilia website? I love it man..
