you can ask for an online quotation at this link.

 

for an y2k, it's most probably FS plate and after, and the year of registration is 2000 onwards..

 

just give a fictitious details for the bike will do.. the quotation is very accurate..

the 1.5k insurance premium might be for 1st party.. if ya taking up a loan from bike shop, most probably they will expect ya to get a minimum TPFT (third party with fire and theft) which wud definitely cost more than 775$.

 

get a third party, if ya buying the bike from a private owner and ya neighbourhood is safe...

i see.. i'll definately buy from private buyer if i can but i'm sourcing for loans which will include the insurance price in the loan. but can't seem to find any. nvm pray hard that i'll pass my TP next monday first. if i can get my bike in time i'll definately want to join you guys at the BBQ.

i can help try get loan frm u on condition tt the ex owner takes a bike out frm the shop which gives u the loan.. if keen get back to me at 98554161 coz ive done it i sold my aprilia to the new owner wif reloan but i took a wave frm the shop

best is u can a cheapo leather jacket from beach road..

cost less than 100 bucks..

make sure its fully leather..

and leather won't burn when burn with lighter..

Alan, I had my suit mended with braided line.... the original line they use to sew the leather together is very bad. I used my fishing use braided line which is 80lbs to sew it together.... anyway, i will get a better quality suit somewhere in July.

2 We would like to inform you that we have no objection to towing a trailer on your vehicle to transport motorcycles so long as your vehicle is fitted with a suitable tow hook and certified by the vehicle manufacturer for towing. The trailer, however, will have to be registered with the LTA and comply with the vehicle registration and technical requirements set out in the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules, Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) Rules and Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Lighting) Rules.

 

3 The general technical requirements for trailers are as follows:

 

a) The overall length of the trailer and drawing vehicle shall not exceed 11 metres.

b) The overall length of the trailer shall not exceed 4.6 metres.

c) The vehicle drawing a trailer shall not exceed an overall length of 7 metres and the vehicle manufacturer has to certify that the vehicle is suitable to tow the trailer.

d) The trailer must be equipped with an efficient braking system and lighting system.

e) The tow bar connecting the vehicle and trailer shall not exceed 4.5 metres.

 

4 To apply for LTA's approval, you have to submit the following documents:

 

a) Letter of application

b) A copy of technical drawing (A2 or A1 size where applicable) endorsed by a Professional Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

c) The technical specifications of the vehicle from the manufacturer

d) Weight distribution calculations endorsed by a Professional Engineer (Mechanical)

e) Axle catalogue

f) Weight card (to determine axle weight)

 

5 The application can be submitted using the "Vehicle Inspection and Type Approval System" (VITAS). For more details on VITAS, please visit our website at https://vitas.lta.gov.sg.
