Hey all...

 

My name is Seraph, as you can tell. And I am considering buying a Aprilia RS 125. Should I go for a 2nd hand or just buy a brand new RS 125?

 

I'm tempted to buy a brand new and have a 3 year loan on it.

 

I've had my license for about a year but I don't think I would be upgrading to a 2A. Might ride the bike for 3 years and then get a class2.

 

What do you suggest?

i'm around there too.. yeah the seat height of a y2k is fine.. but can't have most of the feet on the ground.. no sense of security leh. maybe lower the rear suspension..

wowee! pretty swee! dunno whose gonna be the 1st one to have a fba plate on one of this... i especially loved the clear signals! very stylo! haha... 360* change of styling compared to the 05 rs125 but it doesn't lose out dat much ma... older rs is rounder & more classic. newer rs oozes sophistication & looks sharp. matter of diff tastes haha... hmm... wonder will got new rs250 wit the same styling? wwaaaa....

the pillion seat for the 06 RS125 look very higher.. think the pillion will feel more like a racer than the rider lol

 

i dunno how will tat piece of lacing dream sticker on the fuel tank have effect on the new owners... more lacers in the making or more accident on the road.. haha

if rs250's still in production & had the 06 rs126 style... wowee... duper swee haha...

noticed how the 06r6 & 06 rs125 featured easily detachable signal & license plate piece for track use. both had a slim up swipe butt... very nicely done.

hmm 10.6k's reasonable bah... koz it's a new model to replace older 05 rs125, not a separate sp version like 06 r1 & 06 r1 sp.

Those changing tyres, check out the Michelin Pilot Sport/race sport or something like that..... tyres at Ah Boy at S$240 onli. 110/60 front, 150/70 rear. Tyre compound is classified soft. Good for 125cc use. These tyres are better than the GPR70. The tyres last longer n is more sticky than GPR70.....but the con is that during wet weather, it doesnt function well enough but better than stock tyres for sure. There isnt much threading at the side of the tyres... basically if u like corner grip, it works. If u want it to last longer, it works. Wet, watch it when u corner.
