guys i have a problem viewing streaming videos from mojoflix, tried to open this: http://www.mojoflix.com/Video/Japanese-fighter-aircrash-caught-on-cctv.html but i got this message: This page requires AC_RunActiveContent.js. the movie isn't even loaded at all, tried to disable my firewall temporarily and the video screen showed up but it did not play, it just skipped right to the end without any footage and displayed ads within the video browser. i pressed replay but get the same thing, movie skips right to the end with no footage and ads in the browser. so i tried to download it with realplayer, it downloads like 380kb of data and is completed, obviously can't play that. i installed the latest version of flash (10.12.36) and java is updated to the latest. any idea how?

I spy with my little eye:

1. That webpage was improperly setup. My diagnostic tools reported that it found JavaScript errors on that webpage.

2. (Highly probable cause) I tried to download the video directly, it said "Access Denied" and "you don't have any access to this resource". Even the rest of the videos exhibited this problem.

And I did this with Google Chrome and Internet Exploiter 7.

Any Firefox users here? :)

sad :(

Proxy Server Refused Connection

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

another thing i noticed is that (without proxy settings and prior to this thread)

some sites i load tend to be all jumbled up eg.

some pics don't load and the text overlap each other

I'm still pondering on your first problem.

(Yoz...anyone knowledgeable here 2 help?!)

For the second one, if it happens on many websites *and* if it happens on many browsers that you've tried, try relaxing your Anti-spyware settings.

Third party Anti-spyware (and even some Antiviruses) software have "safe browsing" features bundled with it -- these typically prevent popups, scripts and warns users of phishing websites. However, if they're set too restrictive (as in don't allow all scripts across the board) these things may happen, pictures don't load or load incorrectly, or that stuff on a website may display things incorrectly.

So try to relax the restrictions on your 3rd party products.

If it's just Firefox, is there an add-on extension that blocks popups or acts as a courtesy anti-spyware feature? Too restrictive?

ok i sorted out the jumbled text and no pics. so happens that firefox got updated and my firewall permitted it to run partially without 100% permissions. so everytime firefox updates, i have to reset the permissions in my firewall for that prog. still can't view streaming videos at that site though..
