hi guys, have a big (but it's gonna take a while ) project. *if the god of fortune supports* :p

1.Is our engine model GY6?

2. Anyone used oil catch tank? Was there a difference?

If you are using gmax150 den yes it is same as gy6 engine with only some slight differences. You'll be able to fit in gy6 cylinder, head, clutch, variator, clutch. etc. Belt i'm not sure, that's one that i think might be different. If you have enough funds u can even fit DR.Pulley HiT clutch if you like.

Oil catch tank is to catch the oil residue from the oil breather vent. Usually it is connected 1, to head, 2,crankcase vent and 3, oil filler. It is said to relief positive crankcase pressure.

Scooter Tuning Is Not A Crime.

Hi Bro,

Actually for oil change, spark plug, filter cleaning, it can be done at any shops. But please note that you have to make sure the mech doing the work knows which part of your bike fairing to open to get access to the parts that needs to be change. The engine and location of the bike is the same as the Gilera runner. Just make sure the mech use the same type of parts for the change esp the belt and oil filter. It's always better to go to HQ to do your servicing, esp major ones but if you can't find the time to go there for minor servicing, its still fine to go to other shops provided they know how to service the bike. Feel free to call HQ if you or the mech servicing your bike is not sure of anything as i believe if you buy the bike from them, they will help you in any way possible. And in my opinion, HQ always give good services and they know the bike better than any other shops. :)

Pasir Gudang Cheese Crab Makan Outing (Halal)

Date : 06 March 2010

Time : 2100hr (Headcount and briefing) Will move out by 2130hr

Meet up place : GP Esso

Closing date : 12pm on 06 March 2010

Please add in your name if going and do not turn up last minute if your name is not in the list as I need to order some of the food before hand

Organiser : Mark C. and Scarab.

Things to note :-

Distance from GP Esso to Makan Location : 90km with 1km stretch of dirt road. Not using Pasir Gudang Highway. Using a new road so distance is longer but less cars thus we don't have to slalom thru the heavy traffic. There are petrol stations to and fro so those with small tanks do let us know before hand.

Amount to bring : Food only RM40 or less. Bringing extra RM will be for your petrol.

Newbies are most welcome as the travelling speed will be around 100kmh or less. It'll be a good experience, too, as you'll have a chance to ride in pitch darkness under our guidance. :thumb:

Do make sure your bike is in a good condition as the best we can do is fixing a flat tire. (But will collect from you SGD10 for the foam) :D Any thing worse more than this that cannot be solved we will call for tow at your own cost.

3. The last stretch of dirt road. Don't worry, it's not as bad as it looks. Do be careful though.

Bro, G-Max 150 can reach abt 110 to 120km/h top speed. G-Max 200 can reach abt 130-140km/h top speed. & please take note that 4-stroke runner uses a 200cc liquid-cooled engine.

Doing some upgrades to the rollers & clutch shoes will help to maintain & increase the power slightly by 10-15%. But the wear & tear will be faster than stock types.

I will be joining for the makan.

I will recommend those who just started riding to join more of such trips.

It is a very good exposure to ride in Malaysia road with a convoy. Riding speed will be average of 100km/h.
