Ah pek lor

http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/TV_and_Movies/tete-yoda-3d.gif

so sad... me Ah Pek liao.

My opinion:

For rider 90kg and below, rear setting can set at 3. * Soft for the backside but cornering not smooth becos rear is too low and it bounces a bit.

i'm only 63kg, so no problem at 3 or 4

don't think i'll be anywhere near 90kg :p

As for the front, won't go wrong with the Hyperpro. Just need to decide on the type of oil use for light or heavy feel.

:thumb: you won't regret going on the hyperpro :thumb:

but dunno why someone keep taking it out n putting it back leh... whahahaha

Any 1 tried Michelin tires??? how is the Gold and pilot sports/city faring?

though in Michelin website, it states that Gold Standard is for Silverwing, local distributor for Michelin is not bringing this size in. Gold Standard is a very good touring tire. very good on wets too. but pricey. Pilot Sport has Silverwing size. its a Radial tire. very good for playing but super slippery and ex.

now the 2 hot tires are the Pirelli Diablo Scoot & the Metzeler Feelfree.

i asked a fren who specialize in alternators. Cos b4 i install 2 more HID bike was ok. But after install less then 2 weeks, the coil burnt liao.

Told me is becos the initial ignite of the HID is drawing 10A each. So if i on all 3, its 30A being drawn. And our bike cant support so much..

Chairman, this coming week's TCSS is on Wed or Thurs?

I thinking of Wednesday happy hour at Boiler Room in St James. They got cover charge of $12 but tiger beer is 3 for 1. After that got Disco Fever Night.

But if beer and live band is not the cup of tea for others, then the normal TCSS is ok. Wed or Thurs also boleh.

Not sure oso..was told that the coil kinda like overheat. Seems to always burn at the location where the output wire is. Refer to the the pictures..

about the coil burning, ah choong ever told me it is caused by "overheating", result of using #w50 or heavier EO coz they're too heavy to "splash" cool the coil. anyone ever heard this theory elsewhere? :?

i was using the maxima extra 15w50 (its formula is heavier than the normal w50) when coil got burnt (bike still in rather stock condition then), got it replaced by BS under warranty. now faithfully follow the owners manual's recommended #w40 :thumb:

think there could be SWingers currently using the heavier 15w50 but didn't have coil problem... dunno what is what liow :p

another controversial issue is... which oil grade to use for SW's transmission oil. manual stated #w40 (same as engine oil) but most mech/shops will recommend the usual gear oil which is #w70~90.

my gears kenna problem (got garak-garak sound) few weeks after i changed to the normal gear oil (think its #w90). spent few hundreds to replace gear shaft n some stuffs, now ok liow. dunno whether its plain coincidence or really due to too heavy oil used.

now faithfully follow the owners manual's recommended #w40 :thumb:

heard there're SWingers currently using normal gear oil but didn't have gear problem... also dunno what is what liow :p

anyone got similar experience or info to share?

New SW manual recommended 10w30 for gear oil. So maybe thinner gear oil is better.
