The brakes are on the right side, bottom of the brake disc.

Got 1 nut securing a screw.

 

Loosen the nut (#12 I think) and use a plier (or use hand if able to) to turn the screw inwards until it touches then back it out a little bit.

Tighten back the nut.

Normally should full lock about 3-4 clicks of the handbrake.

Wah finally my SWING FC improve le after cleaning of air filter

 

from 21km/l and now 24km/l

using K&N air filter?

 

now on iridium? if still on normal plugs, the iridiums may further improve your FC.

but note that FC shortly after changing to IUH24 may "worsen" for a while.

many riders (including me) tend to spray more juice to enjoy the new faster responses... shiok mah. after a while, used to it liow so riding normally... then can see FC improve

DO NOT park inside the MSCP unless u wanna pay. "free" parking available at loading n unloading area next to Kopitiam food court. one side of the barrier is big enough for a GW to pass through but do exercise caution. alternatively, park on pavement along CCK Ave 1. see guide/map below:

. basic shampoo

. water hose to spray spray

. bike n biker

. lots of 20c coins (sinkapor one hor)

. shampooing sponge n drying cloths

. shampoo (if u have special formula)

. wax if u wanna pamper your ride further

. new spark plugs n tools if u wanna DIY change

 

i'll also bring the vacuum gauge in case someone wants to do airscrew sync

got bad experience parking there... the stupid thing cant scan my IU & cashcard. the speaker of the intercom is spoiled... cars all waiting behind me... lucky i riding spark, still can lean it sideway to go under the barrier... but injured my left wrist.

i usually ride past the big lobang of the barrier at the loading/unloading area... leaving by the same hole (against traffic so pass with caution) cos the exit side has not enough space. once inside, lots of space to park but NOT at the Giant's side.

btw, this is my new seat design... nice and comfortable.

... rider back rest has been raised (upwards and forward) with additional sponge paddings

... rider seat area has been shaved slightly with a depression

... "shark skin" non-slip fabric over seat area for rider and pillion for better butt grip

... "carbon fibre" look non-slip fabric for a 2 tone look

... light grey skirtings to spice up otherwise boring black-n-black

I'm lost....... Lost the lead bike & second bike after moving off at tapah r&r heading to Ipoh. Now at KFC Cameron waiting for them (by 6pm still can't meet up, will head back to Singapore.)

Hi all silverwing bro, i got my silverwing today!!! Thanks for bro scoobydoo recommended me to Kallang Cycle look for ah choong. Morning to noon completed purchase of insurance and transfer, afternoon heading down direct to Kallang Cycle doing some repairs and add on items. Luckily today no ppl, he spent around 4 hrs time from 3pm plus - 7pm plus on my bike....

 

Today total damage $275:

1. Change Coolant.

2. Added electric hella horn - always my priority item to add

3. Change heavy balancer - new design n same price

4. Change handle grip - i bought myself... BMW grip at 28 buck, but ah choong say is not origin from BMW type...

5. Added voltmeter

6. Added headlight switch

7. Change the hazard light switch from side to center area - ah choong say this is his design...

8. Change underseat light.

9. Change headlight bulb - removed the osram white bulb from my x8 to my new baby.

10. Change front bearing.

11. Change front brake pad.

12. Removed all the unnecessary LED wires/stripe leaving....

13. Adjust handle bar.

 

After adjust handle bar still not so balance, will need to drop by on Monday to adjust again. Today wanna change the pole light to white LED light bulb, but dun have stock, now still original amber/orange colour...

if u go Performance Motors, the grip only $23+ nia... seriously dun think the grips are made by BMW but becos BMW bikes uses them, they became "BMW" grips lor

adjust handle bar? u mean handlebar is not pointing forward when wheels are aligned to fore-n-aft?

some bros also have this symptom, sent in to Boon Siew for alignment but still got a little off after max adjustment done.

 

hmmm... wonder how come ah choong didn't do the following, not enough time?

+ check/service the transmission system... belt, rollers, clutch assembly, etc.

+ change engine oil & filter

+ change transmission oil

+ check/change air filter

+ check/change brake pads/assemblies

what is pole light??

pole light is the 2 small lights to the side of the main headlight.

stock comes with the normal yellowish bulb... some of us have changed them to blue T10 LED bulbs for aesthetic reasons (not LTA/Vicom friendly though)
