Bought 4x S25 LED signal light from Limbat @$30 each. Hmm, supposed to be $35 but auntie gave some discount... *I didn't do anything. Honest.

 

Fixed the rear... swee swee very bright and flashing is normal.

 

Then realised... the front cannot be used becos the connection is different!!!

Grrr. My rear signal is 1156 Bau15s connection and the front signal is T20 wedge 7440.

 

So difficult to find the 7440 amber signal with built in resistor.

And they don't have my white 7443 brake lights too. Must order from USA online liao.

7443 found... but $20 or $33... someone selling in latio car forum (incl. installation)

Is it just my SWT or Hondas have changed something other than the looks?

chasis n engine is the same... but remember the bodyworks are different, especially the head cowl... brackets underneath/supporting the tupperware are definitely different.

 

design wise, i guess is that the weight distribution of old one is more compact since both head lights are built as 1 physical unit (less parts less vibration) and signal lights are fitted at the firmer upper section. use our knuckles and knock knock around the head cowl, the hollowness of sound produced could be a good estimate.

 

the SWT/GT has twin headlights which are separately mounted (more parts, more vibrations), spreading their weight distribution sideways away from centre. also, the signal lights are lowered to the more hollow section of the head cowl.

 

add these differences up... more vibrations??? maybe, maybe not

wah. this thread is growing too fast.. anyway, my FC is 11km/l in local driving... not sure if can get 14km/l.

 

anyway, so long got ppl split toll and fuel with me, I'm still in!

city driving usually drinks more petrol due to stop-n-go pattern, especially for auto trans.

if normal is 11km/L, then smoothly on HW should get better FC unless looooot all the way

even at 11km/L, additional petrol is about 48L @Rm2.1/L comes to abt Rm100.80 or S$44 @2.3 rate... each only add another S$22... 1 bottle of maxima eo? whahahaha
