H L Cycle is the place i got the price.. look for Chua..

The tyres are not readily available in store, need to inform in advance and they bring from store i guess..

I need some help... Juz bought 2004 model SW... I noticed itz easy 2 put e bike on mainstand as itz light... But when im on e bike moving it 2 e front or rear is very difficult... Itz like so heavy... Can any1 advise me if diz is normal...

Eh... 240kg+ ... sure will be heavy pushing if you're sitting on it.

Get use to it and it will become normal liao.

 

Then again, please check tire pressure and wheel smoothness.

went to change my rear tyre and was quoted $100 for pirelli tyre change and balancing.

 

how is balancing done? are they suppose to place my bike on a machine? forgot about the balancing thing after i left the shop.

 

because after changing the tyre i did not see the mech spining the wheel on any machine

I only know of 2 places that can balance the rear wheel of SW; at Ah Choong and Sporting Motor. They have special tools to attach the wheel (only) to the balancing machine.

Not sure about the single wheel price though cos I normally change the whole set at only $170.

I mean they will install the tire then place the whole wheel onto the machine for balancing.

When I park on the slop, i found I got no strength to reverse the bike.. How I wish the silverwing bike got reverse gear..

simple solution... do not park with head facing downhill.

 

it is recommended in the owners manual (pg 80) to park with the head facing up:

If you must park on a slight incline, aim the front of the scooter uphill to reduce the possibility of rolling off the centre stand or overturning.

Squats (slow) 5 sets of 20 reps. * Less reps if doing with weights.

Keep back straight, fingers to touch heels at lowest position. 2 counts to squat and 1 count to stand.

 

Shoulder Shrug with dumbbells at the side of the body. Arms straighten and lift the shoulders towards the ear. Hold for a while and lower shoulders as much as possible.

5 sets of 10-20 reps depending on weight of dumbbell.

 

Bisep curls.

5 sets of 10-20 reps depending on weight of dumbbell.

 

3 times a week.

 

Confirmed SW will be very light.

 

5 times a week for ST11.
