SW's speedometer is calibrated a little higher. i.e. actually speed is slightly slower than speedo.

juz for sharing dis video, guys. i know there are many experienced & skillful riders here but there are still a minority not aware of rules of cornering.

the purpose is not to ask ppl go brush up on skills on kup corners but juz to share to safety of negotiating the corners. i'm using dis method too when i was on my sportsbikes.

take note towards the end of the video, the cam on the bike, showing the way he is negotiating the corners. try your best to avoid all painted markings & lane lines, regardless on straight road or on curves.

of cos, we must use good tyres & suspensions for higher safety concious.

after much thinking, it can applies to normal riding but not all the time, depending on road traffic & situation. i used dis method all the time when i'm playing corners.

for now, old & more kiasi, i juz slow down & keep in the centre of lane.

unless no cars within my diameter.

Wah piangz empty my SWING tank just now, opposite punggol park. Had to push the 200++Kg beast up the hill and head for the petrol kiosk. Guess who I met on the road? Our ex-SWING member HelmetBox. Just zip past me.

 

agree the FJS's dashboard & meter panel look quite dull... but the luxury of a big-n-deep left glove compartment is just too much to loose. did u know it can fit a pair of running shoes and more... doesn't mean that i squeeze my stinky shoes there lah

 

Me with the JDM version also same as above but I carry a 1.5 litre reserve petrol (stored in those 1.5 litre tea bottles) inside it all the time, just in case if I run totally dry like Fusionjaz. After running with it for a few weeks and I still don't use it then I will just pour it into the tank and refresh it with new petrol.

cannot nowadays unless you have the proper container. i had to get petrol for a frd who ran out of petrol. they dont allow me to use water bottle. i had to use container bought from the kiosk. thats for caltex.

Actually i did that at JB Mobil petrol stn, go to the Mobil stn coming down from the NSHW which is the last station before reaching the JB Checkpoint with a lot of car display shop before it opp near the Giant Supermkt formerly known as EXTRA Supermkt.

It is located after 2 other petrol stations in a row, one of which is the Shell Stn i think. This station ppl quite Ok, if u dare u can try pumping their 95 also....lol.

Was at Sungei Road area one street away from LAB when I saw this policewomen with helmet on but standing on the road. Thought she was booking cars for illegal parking but she was actually looking out for motorists with illegal stuffs or doing illegal things (eg never wear chin strap, never turn on headlights, helmet visor too dark, number plate not according to standard, road tax not paid, etc). Fortunately I don't have anything illegal at that point, or at least, didn't activate the illegal stuffs

i was in msia driving (my fren's car) bck to sg on tuesday, try to pump 95 but the cashier want me to show her msia IC. lucky my wife is there...
