If you look for 2nd hand Tmax, garage sale i saw got 1 or 2 on sale now.... you can check it out there.... hear from zesture, the riding position for Tmax is not comfy de leh, if you want to ride for touring, maybe you need to re-consider.

If for local usage, then shld be fine, i saw ppl fix with yoshi tri-oval full system, damm chio n nice sound man :thumb:... but hor, very expensive, was told $1.6k after discount price liao and hor, LTA not approve yet.... sigh...

eh... I didn't say it's not comfy. it is just "not as comfy" as the swing or burgman650. :)

take note tmax parts are more expensive too. :)

For 04 model, mileage 48K. The price I paid hope is not too ex :)

Tink the price you paid is around there.... mileage 48k consider quite low.... seem like not a touring bike.... i bought mine 06 model last year with 60k plus... higher than your....LOL.... anyway, as long as in condition for engine, still worth :thumb:

which insurer did you buy your travel insurance from?

think you've misread the post liow... we've moved from travel insurance to PA coverage for the rider throughout the year :p

Sorry. I should have stated more clearly. Travel insurance is an added option on top of PA. My PA is with QBE. Travel Ins is on a per trip basis.

similar to my previous PA plan that was tagged to one of my AIA policies... many PA policies are riders that "piggy back" on existing life or saving policies. i have cancelled it after taking up the PruAccident plan which is a standalone type :p

yes, we should still buy travel insurance when touring. it covers aspects that PA doesn't cover, such as emergency evacuation, loss of baggage, delays, extended stay, illness not due to accident, etc.

Chairman, any recommendations for Flip Up helmets? I have been using Nolan but the price now up so much. Thinking of alternative since I also not riding so much..

Posted (edited)

flip up arh... cheaper than Nolan 102 arh...

more affordable ones are like Caberg, Zeus, HJC, etc

cheap $100+ ones are like HJC, GDR, MHR, etc

personally, i'm looking at $200+ ones but may have a problem with those with built-in inside "sunshade" cos i wearing specs :pity:

may end up with a zeus cos my previous zeus flip up is quite comfy... only complain is the "screw" thing that holds the visor tends to come off when flip up-n-down over time. dunno problem solved by new designs or not :p

added: tried the Caberg Honda Konda at Regina this evening... quite confortable, $280 before bargaining
