after some hesitation and resistance... finally decided to try the "red bull" juice for bikes FP-60, got from motoworld the 260ml promo bottle for $8 (usual $12) :p

here's my review after few days of running around with that juice inside my scoob. hmmm... don't think its sensible to claim that hp has increased but moving off from stationery seems to be more responsive. acceleration from there onwards seems like before (without the juice) until cruising at higher speed, where the throttle seems lighter and engine runs silkier. notice that "seems" is used as these are all results from butt dyno  that one thing that's more concrete could probably be better fuel consumption, which can be verified by kms clocked at half-bar and from each full tank refills :thumb:

its no magic juice, but no harm spending $8 to try try :cheeky:

Am using it since last nov. its gd for throttle response even when using 95 fuel.:thumb: As for savings on mileage, all i can say is u will get extra 1km/l.

After 35000km of traveling since I got my bike 28 months ago. I decided to go for a transmission change. Here are the conditions.

Rollers

http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/6564/rollerrounded.th.jpg

Shows part of it is flat (black surface). There a total of 8 rollers in SW but not all 8 have abrasion.

Belt

http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/3027/belt.th.jpg

Show some signs of wear and tear as I stretch the belt.

I already notice some drift in bike performance before I did the belt change extension trial.

1) Running at higher rpm. Before belt change (~4.8krpm at 80km/h), after belt change (~4.3Krpm at 80km/h).

2) FC deteriorating.

3) After belt change. Bike travels more quieter and better "pull" force at higher speed.

Looks like my next belt change will not go beyond 35000km.:)

nobody press the belt like this to see the wear & tear. if haven't crack, u like that press also crack. and your bike runs smoother and quieter is because your transmission is cleaned & there are grease applied.

interested to join me again this sunday... unpaid "dispatch service"

Am using it since last nov. its gd for throttle response even when using 95 fuel.:thumb: As for savings on mileage, all i can say is u will get extra 1km/l.

use cheaper fuel still got 1km/l improvement... can't ask for more liow :thumb:

some eat full too free calculations...

costs:

. 15ml juice to 10L gas... burg6 full tank 15L should use about 22.5ml

+ 260ml juice cost $8; 22.5ml costs $0.692

savings:

- from using 95 fuel (down from 98): $0.123 x 15L = $1.845

- from extra mileage (burg6 ~22km/L): (1km x 15L) x ($1.71/22) = $1.166

net savings per tank: 1.845 + 1.166 - 0.692 = $2.32

guys, cheaper fuel does not equate to lower FC

I have been using Shell for more than a decade(almost 2). Shell 95 gives best FC, better than 98 and much better than V Power

just received the reply from the producers of FP-60

is my english so difficult to understand that they can't answer my question directly without sending me a bush :slapforehead:

Joseph,

Sounds like your friends need to start using FP60! FP60 is different than any other additive on the market and not only does it treat the symptoms (carbon and varnish), but it treats the problem which is poor burning fuel. By adding FP60 to every tank of fuel you are helping prevent carbon, varnish, and gum buildup. FP60 continuously lubricates the fuel system which helps prolong the life of your fuel system.

Treat the problem, not just the symptoms.

Comments: Hi

I bought FP-60 yesterday but need your advise whether it should be used for every refill, perpetually. My friends have different recommendations. Some said it is to be used only for 3 to 4 refills of gasoline and once the cleaning is done, we should stop using the additictive until such time that cleaning is desired, prolonged use is harmful for the engine. Others said they use it for every refill without fail. Is FP-60 suitable for perpetual use?

if you're thinking of getting the FP-60, the smaller 260ml bottle is more worth while the $8 promotion is on

small bottle... $8/260ml = 3.08 cents /ml

1 quart bottle... $38/950ml = 4.00 cents /ml

when mine's finished... probably try the better known brand like STP
