if weight is a main concern, pls note that Deauville NT650 is actually LIGHTER than the SW400. the Deauville NT700 is a few Kg heavier than the SW though

Yes, I know SW is not lighter than Deauville NT700 (see attachment you will know why), but I believe is more friendly and more easy to handle than Deauville. (FYI my family member who are going to use it,all above 55year old) and for the past 2year I have try to encourage them to use it, but lass than 5 minute they give up. btw under my condition which is the better choice you think I should change (MP3 400 or SW400).

hmm... for a bike that is seldom use, why not consider the much cheaper Downtown 300 (1st hand) or a SW/SW-T (2nd hand)?

 

DT300 should be around 12k++. 2nd hand SW from 8k and SW-T likely from 12.5k+.

$$ saved can add lots of bling bling.

Yes yes bro sw9000 hahaha i support ur quote get 2nd hand sw. If im not wrong brand new swt cost $16k otr? Almost same price as super4 spec3. Bit reluctant to sell though. But i swear frm the bottom of my heart, silverwing is my best ride ive ever bought. Hahaha good fuel consumption, big compartments, cheaper tires, rd tax, insurance, automatic transmission and best is you wont get so wet when raining. Contemplate to get tmax but upon consideration of my junior coming out soon wifey ask to sell.

Recently realized that my SW fuel indicator up and down, not accurate to show the actual FC level When i fully pump, the 1st level normally will go off after 90km, but hor the fuel indicator show the 1st level went off abt 50km lidat, after a while then come back to full tank level again (normal) then drop when reach abt 90km... Anyone wat happen bo? Is the fuel line got problem or battery go low? My voltmeter oso drop from the previous btw 13.9-14 to 13.7-13.8 now..... :confused:hmm.....

It may be the float resistor in your fuel tank that cause the problem. If you consider replacing, you need to replace the whole assembly. Which include a fuel pump. Check your FC to see if increase before scope to the float resistor

Wah sei... seem like if i want to change will cost a boom... Now i monitor based on the mileage running to determine the actual FC consumed, tat y i noticed that the indicator "buay chun" and abit "siao" liao.... haiz....

I guess the majority of the cost will come from the pump assembly.

Workman ship you may have to get a few quotation from bike shop.

Were you thinking of changing bike or never 'wash' her clean clean?

Sometimes they throw temper if you show not enough love.

 

Don't think it is that serious with the pump.

Sometimes parking at slope also got such problem.

As long as goes back to normal after awhile then no need spend that kind of $$. Free ice mocha for all of us better.

 

But... the voltmeter reading is worrying.

Charging must be above 13.6v to be effective.

Normal running voltage is 14.1v+ for SW.

 

Go bike shop get it tested: rectifier distribution and magnetic coil voltage leakage.

Hmm... if put top box then the backrest is not necessary. A customised cushion on the box may be cheaper.

The standard version (your pic) is D318ST.

There's also the Airflow adjustable type AF318.
