icic... how much is e SW rack?

 

slighter more than $150. forgotten le. H&B universal rack only $100

not only abt the solid hard case. but importantly the air-pockets designed in the box. for GIVI & Kappa boxes, the size is calculated from the outside of the box. but for H&B boxes, it calculated only from the internal of the box. and i like H&B boxes is because its squarish. making packing a lot easier.

btw, in Malaysia, breaking into a GIVI box or stealing the whole box have always been common. unless u can mod to put in a padlock.

 

Noticed there is a SW with a H&B box ridden by expat with the box held to the original SW tail wing by 4 bolts going right through the base of the box and held on by self locking nuts inside the box. There was also about 3cm of a rubber moulding between the base of the box and the tail wing to keep the box level. Actually quite neat and almost impossible to steal - but i wonder about the waterproofing. Next time i see it i will ask permission to take a photo & post it. Anyone else seen this SW ? Titanium colour with FBA plate.

someone in the group dun have overnight visa... so we're considering a 1-day trip for 1st choice, until that someone can get visa

1100: Jackson bay

1130: coastal ride down to Sungai Rengit (90km)

1230: seafood lunch, then roam around small town

1500: depart for JB via KT for bike wash (110km)

1630: snowy wash???

1800: return via causeway or dinner at JB

finally... return to Sinkapor

0930: Stopover (Pagoh 140km)

1115: Seremban town (135km)

1130: lunch at city centre, walk around

1300: depart for Port Dickson via SPDH (35km)

1330: eta Port Dickson, visitations...

e.g. blue lagoon (dun expect nose bleeding stuffs ok), cape rachardo, fort lukut, etc

1630: depart for GP via SPDH/NS/E3 (not enough time to do coastal ride down)

1800: stopover (Pagoh)

1930: eta GP, dinner at "Tian Lai"

(can consider leave bike at washing vendor while eating)

2100: depart for Singkapor

ps: not sure whether this plan is feasible or not, if you know, please advise

 

1 may labour day is also public holiday in m'sia... so do expect some crowd everywhere we go

 

Melacca? i went 3x recently so not really considering

personally, i go to these few motortiams; which many of us also visits... at the least you know they've done SW before

(not in any sort of order)

~ Tai Hin (Jackye) ... eo/filter, lights, lots of accessories, etc

~ Future Scootering (Kenny) ... eo/filter

~ K&T (Clifford) ... transmission set, eo/filter, air filter, fork oil, etc

~ Wonderful (aka Botak) ... eo/filter

~ Motoworld (Muji) ... tires

 

basically, we can go anywhere if its only for eo and oil filter (same as S4)

but for things like belt, rollers, etc. that're specific to scooters, better go somewhere where the mech is familiar with the SW
