Was reading up past issues of Men's Health and there was a write up on... SEX!

Recommended dosage is:

1. 6 times a week. A 1-month course will reduce 0.5kg of fat.

2. 7 ejaculations per week. More is ok when requested. It is rude to reject.

3. Best results in the morning. Sustaining higher metabolism rate for the day.

The above activities are best supplemented by: Bananas, Ginseng, Watermelon and Pomegranate. Should be taken separately and on different days.

Happy exercising!!

Back from a lazy Sunday Ride, looping to Jason Bay, E22 and Bukit Indah:

Left home at 8am. Then realised I've only got SGD20, 80 ringgit and 1 Credit Card. Haiz, used my last SGD20 to pump SG ESSO for a tank that can possibly lasts only 300km.

After Malaysia Custom (via Woodlands), filtered right to the Highway to KL and Kota Tinggi, by-passing JB.

Very few cars and then exit near Tebrau City.

Stopped at Kota Tinggi Bah Kut Teh for breakfast. As usual, full house there. Lucky managed to find a small table then get the staff to help me order.

BKT, pock legs and tea cost 16 ringgit.

Then took a loop to Jason Bay and down towards Desaru. Very comfortable 90km/h.

Lucky was alone otherwise would be 'forced' to go at 110km/h... chasing after the group or trying to shake off an 'irritating' Kawa or Yamy tailgater.

Made my way via E22 towards Senai then Bukit Indah Jusco. Watched the Expendables 2.

Still got enough ringgit for a full tank of V-power 97. hehe.

Back home by 3.45pm.

Great lazy sunday ride...on a sw 400 or 600?

Can you share how you park your sw while watching movie? I will have no mood to watch the movie if my bike is parked out of my sight...

Bukit Indah bike parking quite safe.

Got security counter there where you must sign in and collect a card with number.

Only with the card then can pick up your bike later.

You can also disk lock your bike or chain to the metal railings.

Best to greet the security guard there more often (and nicely) and he'll keep an eye for you (I hope... hehe).

A good samaritan could have left a note on the damaged bike with info such as:

* time of event

* lorry's registration plate nos.

* even better if got simple description of lorry driver

* contact nos. if willing to be independent witness

UNFORTUNATELY, being a good samaritan is not as "easy" as it seems, it's not FOC since he/she needs to bear some "costs" such as:

* time to police station when called to make statement

* take leave to attend court if summoned as witness if case go to court

* petrol and parking expenses

* risk of being targeted for revenge by the lorry driver if he looses his job or being penalised

* worst... being accused for being the culprit

Someone wrote to ST Forum suggesting that our system should make provisions for witnesses of accidents/crimes, e.g. paid leave to attend court, reimbursement of relevant expenses, claiming the offender's insurance, PROTECTION, etc.

IMHO, that's a jolly good idea :thumb:

Unfortunately, our leaders felt that good samaritans wouldn't mind bearing such costs themselves, and graceful citizens wouldn't mind being good samaritans. :slapforehead:

Even China (Shenzhen) took action, our leaders are still waiting for something "big" to spark the action.

http://www.theweek.co.uk/world-news/43168/yue-yues-law-china-acts-protect-good-samaritans

One of the debated case involving "fear" of samaritans is that which involved a toddler being left to die along the streets in China.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/oct/17/toddler-hit-and-run-china

http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Asia-Pacific/2011/1019/In-China-toddler-left-for-dead-sparks-heated-debate-about-society-s-moral-health

Few months back, I stopped to help a fellow rider who skidded along PIE.

Guess what? For a few weeks, I wondered if I would receive a letter from insurance company stating that I have been claimed for "causing that accident" :pity:

today while riding... along PIE from Jurong towards Changi

action 1: saw 1 rider fell right in front of me (shortly after Bt Timah flyover)

rider on smallish bike (looks like a pulsar) fishtail fishtail then crashed onto wet tarmac. we were going at around 30+~40km/h nia but guess he squeezed his brakes too hard trying to avoid running into the car which stopped abruptly in front.

ps:

i'm not discouraging people from being good samaritans, but just pointing out the pitfalls and the inadequate provisions to protect them.

Was reading through and wonder how true is this?

Advantages of Bridgeport valves :

"Every Bridgeport valve will retain it factory specs no matter how many times the tire has been changed"

Posted

Bike wasn't feeling well over the past few days.

Felt sluggish when moving off, more vibrations and more drag at high speed.

And the cause?

WTF... tire pressure lah!

Last pumped was few days before NDP, means 3 weeks+ liao.

Silly me.

Btw, Mutol7100 really quiet and smooth (and cooler... fan not activated as early) but my throttling also not as speedy(easy) as when using Maxima.

Why cannot have both? Haiz.

Waiting for more review of Amsoil ahh.

Aiyah, change tire but not the wheel mah.

The valve usually never touched at all.

Only worry is when tire repair with fluid that may choke the valve pin.
