Looks like semi-knobby.

Hmm. Will too many groves slow the bike or more jumpy after a few km of uneven wear and tear?

The micro slits on the k66 looks like those on the feelfree wintec

Nv heard of this brand...I google it, it is made in germany... I will stick with usual diablo. A set $170-$180 is very reasonable tire which last 15000km.

yippie... my scooby's back this afternoon :cheer:

 

culprit = defective pulse coil/sensor (see pic)

 

total damage for episode = $245 (Boon Siew) + $115 (K&T) = $360

pulse coil/sensor costs

ps: sorry, remember sala

 

actually, i collected scooby from BS on Sat morning but it stayed at K&T for another day for servicing and repair.

 

repair again? yalo, the engine right side cover was leaking cos BS mech opened it up to change the pulse coil/sensor but didn't seal it back properly :slapforehead:

 

BS supervisor (Mr Toh) asked me to go back for rectification but i am already very disappointed with BS with regards to their workmanship to seal the SW's side cover... this is the 2nd time BS failed to seal it properly so i decided to pay and get K&T to seal it for me (previous time also rectified swee swee by ah cheun).

change engine/drive oil (i bring my own) & oil filter, clean transmission and seal engine case... adds to $115.

 

what scooby need is a good bath for the new year :smile:

labour cost is $160 + pulse coil + some clips for tupperware + GST = $245.85 :sian:

 

update:

sorry i remember sala... BS charged me $49+ for the coil :p

This is also known as the CKP sensor. Good that BS able to find the cause :thumb:
