Hmm... very minor wobble felt at 50km/h. Yet was very smooth even at 130-150km/h.

Happened only after a change of tyres before the trip. No such issues before.

Either tyre balancing not perfected or could be problem with this set of tyre.

Suspension system , steering cone, engine mounting, rims & lastly tyres ( which you mention ). Any of the mention can lead to wobble.

Take your time to cascade the problem.

Happened only after tyre change.

Will get it checked again.

During replacement of tyres, bolts and nuts were removed. Some of the mechanical parts are held together under torque and stress.

Sometimes after a long riding trip or running hours, these parts seat in and seal.( something similar to running in a brand new bike).

Releasing the torque can cause material fatigue.

Anyway the problem may not be that complicated. Just my 2 cents.

Dear fellow SW bros, need your advice on this matter.

I came down to my bike on on Mon and realised that the metal chrome piece covering the exhaust and the round chrome metal near the 2 holes was stolen by other people. Was very upset as I have been riding this SW for 1 year plus without any trouble. It was parked in a open carpark with alot of traffic hence even more pek cek as to how it got stolen. I called up the insurance company and they told me its not claimable. I also made a police report liao. Just have to view this as suay and have to come out from own pocket to replace.

Any kind bros know how much to replace the entire set of chrome metal plates? Is there any alternative replacements such as OEM version? (If there is such a thing)

:(

We all only live once. Enjoy the ride. Glad to have met all the wonderful friends through the spirit of riding. Ride safe people!

yup... the "theft" part of insurance applies to only whole bike gone, not part of the bike.

one of my friends had his bike stripped off all tupperware, chrome parts and accessories, leaving a naked bike behind. he also can't claim his comprehensive insurance and had to spend few Ks to restore the bike.

we were joking whether it's better for him to "disintegrate" the bike and claim total loss

give FJT Parts & Accessories (honda parts supplier) a call (Tel 63925928) for a FOC quote, it's located at 15 Rowell Road (shop houses along Desker Road).

think the big long piece costs around $140 (need to check my invoice), small piece should be cheaper ba.

the man on the phone will always ask "where you're calling from", just tell him you're a bike owner can liow.

regardless of what the motortiams tell you, there's a preferential pricing system for them :p

Many thanks scoobydoo bro. Is there such a thing as OEM for the chrome pieces, or is it cheaper to order, maybe from overseas? Just wanna see if there is alternative options.

that is the downside of the insurance part noted of several years back then, I never invested heavily on the comprehensive part. I beta of dumping my bike of at any ravine, declared total loss rather. :)

SAF have 7 Core Values... appended to perfect 10

8th Core Value ... "Just Do It", but then don't get caught

Nike must be very proud of their marketing slogan, so useful

9th Core Value ... If get caught, then act ABCD and engage QC

A=Amnesia, B=Blur, C= Cow-pae-cow-bu, D = Depression

QC means Queens Counsel lor, that type that got QYF off the hook even after kicking other people's balls one lor

10th Core Value ... If all fails, then lan lan suck thumb lor
