You can head back to Piaggio HQ at Genting lane to get it done, or you can also head down to Sunrise at Kallang Industrial Park, they are the official Piaggio people or something like that, cause the Piaggio mechanic at HQ itself told me to go there.

 

As for price wise, I'm not sure, cause I just live with mine even though the buttons spoil. Lol!

Haha. Piaggio always ask ppl to go other shop like Taihin or sunrise or wingyap and WM. Sometime headache thing that don`t want to do. so shoot ppl lor.

total 4k. keeping in mind piaggio parts price is ex. Anyway, just ask for a breakdown from the shop and bring to piaggio to verify the cost of the parts.

What does the water pump have to do with accident. If the faring is brand new? it come with orginal paint work. so no respray is needed? Better check properly. Now i know why our insurance went up.

either way even at 4k do u think its worth to repair.

 

back to the previous post, i am not the inexperience driver, n the man aka rider act like 1 big F so what else i would say. even theres carrot head its either by the shop or the rider who claim hes so holy n religous. if hes so good he will think of the young driver which he claim.

 

n still can tell the young driver 4k for repair like its as per normal. too bad my fren refuses to let it claim through insurance now payment is paid, if the big F rider now wnana play backstab through insurance. then i think u guys will know how dirty this person is.

well, no matter the cost, your young driver friend has to pay for the mistake she made. Lucky the rider no injury else she will kena jialat from the authorities. 4k might seem a little too much, most probably is the shop trying to earn some money from the insurer by inflating repair claims. (their usual practice)

My bike is resprayed to Ducati Yellow. Stock Paint will never get that colour!

i sure understand this part as i am a rider myself. but the fact is the price to be paid is too ridiculous n that guy still got the cheek to claim himself as holy. said my fren is juz like his daughter age but does he think of the aftermath.

 

sadly to say even letting him claim insurance the monetary lost is even much lesser than this.. gurantee plus chop. so that is y that guy riding that dumb f*** x8 is an a**..

This 1 will be tricky le. Any black and white to show your friend pay him?

 

Maybe you can ask him to show the proof of receipt if any. Cos i believe that it is over inflated for a slight knock. Even my friend X8 head on a car don`t cost so much. His bike front is 100% gone, right side faring all gone. The whole bike repair including change of belt and servicing cost him less then 2k.

If i am her, i will make sure 4k is well spent and not inside pocket for beer.

How about try involve police inside the picture. But i doubt they can do anything. As your friend have agree to the price.

wat to do.. this is done base purely on the rider words of QUOTATION.. so only can suck thumb lor since my fren chose to listen to the words of the rider.

 

inovlve police or dun involve, the person get hold of the money still can do insurance claim n even police report if he wan. that guy only know how to take advantage of young gal n maybe inexperience ppl.

The original X9 500 yellow is the Taxi Hyundai Yellow. Mine is Ducati Yellow, its a totally different shade of yellow!

I spend about $700 to respray the entire bike. This would mean even the parts that are the black rough rough plastic parts. It has been resprayed to become like smooth fibreglass fairings.

 

The entire procedure took me about close to 2 weeks. I did at Yeow Motors. Did my Mito with him as well.

the LCD panel will not be cheap, cost i think should be about $300++ if i am not wrong
