HELP!!! HELP!!! i need help, wonder this problem will happen for X9 bro or other scooter here?

 

i have changed my bike to X8 200cc around 1 month, this evening i noticed that when i pump the petrol till full, there is leaking of some petrol out from bottom, but i check my tank, still remain the same level, dunno why the petrol is leaking out.....??? what happening? anyone noe abt tat? Izzit i pump too full?? the extra will come out? but feel abnormal cannot be extra will leaking out automatically right? Is my petrol tank got problem?

 

I dun feel any diff for the FC, i can still remain around 290KM - 300KM, then dashboard will blinking the light for no petrol liao, but i still can hit till 320KM leh....Pls enlighten me....

 

from wat you mention, i believe is the fuel floater O-ring worn out (it turn harded), as long as if you dun top up too full, you can can use. please also check the fuel hose.

currently using Malossi Variator (Multivar). Wanted to change back to orginal parts so that i can use the Dr Pulley's slide roller, cause every 6000km need to change the normal roller + oil = $100. quite ex.

 

How much is the orginal parts?? thinking of changing everything back to orginal..

would like to seek for some advise. actually i love to travel within peninsular with friends. therefore i would to change my roller configuration for my x9 180 amalfi. i have 2 options so far that within my tight budget.

 

option 1

 

replace stock roller with dr pulley sliding roller 10.7g

 

option 2

 

replace stock roller with dr pulley sliding roller 12g

replace stock torque spring with malossi torque spring ( white )

 

my objective is to gain top end of some 5 - 10 km/h and being able to steady cruise at 130 km/h for hours.

My oil indicator lights up whenever I switch on.

Just change oil.

If wanna reset, how? Thanks

@amsar: to reset you must open front cover under windshiled after you open find reset button on the right and press the button for 5 sec, after that switch on the ignition and check the oil indicator is still on or not...if not then its reset if not...hmm something wrong with the oil switch or your meter combination:)

I have been toying with the idea of a possible hatyai trip too....anyone been up on the 180. how was it. I must add that its an amazingly comfy bike and i enjoy its smoothness.
