i see everyone's rpm to the speed they got is very different from mine.

kk.. perhaps i post mine:

5k rpm = 60

6k rpm = 70

7k rpm = 85 - 90

8k rpm = 100+

is this normal?

soundless you mention that lously speed is also lead by carb?

how long do you guys service carb?

most likely my problem is same like cheong. really.. 77km drop 4 bar.

anyone any input?

Higher RPM to reach the speed you want is because of the roller. Lighter roller will need higher RPM to reach higher speed. Heavy roller to reach higher speed with lower RPM.

Lighter roller have pick up and no top end.

Heavy roller have top end no pick up.

Orginal Roller have avg speed and pick up.

Yesterday just saw a case that shop change belt and never change roller and U-shoe. Hahaaa...... So next time when change belt and roller, please sit beside the mech to see he change. Who know he just take out and put back, still charge you everything.

Just my small data for everyone.

My transmission is all stock condition.

5.5k - 80km

6k - 90km

7.5k - 115km.

I service my carb, change coolant once a year. whether i need anot. Prevention is better then cure.

Can you run fast when your nose is block?(Air-filter and Carb)

Got lots of way to run in.....

Ride gently and slowly.....(longer lifespan)

Ride like you steal it.....(more power, shorter lifespan)

Mine is stolen bike... So i ride like i stole it.(HARD Run in)

But cute thing is i got the best mileage....

hmm.......mayb can follow ur style. i've been wanting to try hard run in...since i bought my car, to my ex bike which i overhaul...but no guts.hehehe.scared ar. but u say shorter lifespan...ur engine already 80k+ km mileage, stil going strong. can go genting somemore. more power can mean better fc...cos engine wont need to stress too much to achieve that speed. make sense or not?hehe

other then my concern of fc, the rest is ok for now.very relaxed riding, huge storage space. today i brought food for my whole office (hari raya lunch)...all can fit into the box. handling is not bad, stil need to adjust to it.n definitely enjoying the twist n go convenience!

Hi guys,

Just a quick update on my situation. I have checked my mileage after the repairs to the carb gasket and floater needle. Now mine is 21 km/ltr, a far cry from my previous 16km/ltr...not the best but at least it has improved

think you might want to check more detail on your bike unless u are using after market parts as from what i udnerstand, X9 give a average of 25-29km/L

i think average about 23-24km/L is fair enough, cheers
