hi, anyone experience a cut-off on the petrol when u reach above 100? Anyone can share what cause this?

 

Hi all, should I ask what is the top speed of x9 cos whenever i go above 100 for awhile, the bike will feel powerless and drop below 100. anyone can give ur kind advise on this? for my consumption is doing at 28km/l so quite good to me.

my x9 200 tried at tuas at 140 max from the meter.

The highest i reach is 147kph on NSHW with a little slope. The reading is base on the LCD panel and 144 base on GPS.

All the speed attain with stock parts.:angel:The only aftermarket part is AIR-Filter....:angel:

hi everyone.. i'm also new to X9... recently just bought the FX plate 200cc model from bike shop.. was riding gilera runner previously..

 

everything was good after purchase.. but recently.. i keep heard a weird grinding sound "like chain grind with metal plate" when doing low rev from stationary, when the bike is slowing down or during pickup..

 

secondly.. sometimes my bike have abit of loss in power on the 80km to 100km range.. I can feel like there's 1 sec engine brake...

 

the last problem I faced was scary.. there's was a few times when I was riding halfway.. the whole bike suddenly power being cut off.. but after 2-3 second the power came back and the bike can move as normal.. I'm very worried if this happens on the expressway at night.. as I usually travel long distance from east to west frequently..

 

can anyone advise me on these problems? thanks alot..!!

Hi i got this problem also but i also have no idea how to fix it. maybe u can share if u had this problem rectified. Have u check ur air filter or carb ?

Juz wana share...my x9 de seat had been forced open...the thief took out de seat lining n forced open de seat...de metal catch broke in de process..Worst is dat my alarm was disable..coz remote faulty...seems like tis thief noes someting abt x9..

What you lost??? KNS..... Force open the seat to steal... as well break in house, confirm have hold.

I kena a cheapo take my old helmet...... Weeks later found it at my bike..... Maybe they cannot tahan my smelly helmet? :angel:

haha..they took my bag contain my raincoat n some misc stuffs...but they miss out on my amp and ipod...goretex raincoat some more...

Army Goretex raincoat??? The cheapo also quite idi*t. IPOd and Amp cost more then the raincoat lor. Maybe is it your side raining? :angel::sian:

Lets wish the cheapo all the best. Pray hard the person who use it will get wet when rain, fell down when dry. :angel:

last time at my ex workplace also ever kena stolen. dat time go work rain...so a lot of us jus hang the raincoat ard the locker room. out of so many...mine kena stolen. so i pasted a note at that same place...**** the fella upside down....

 

next day....my raincoat appeared!hehe. but now kena stolen at basement carpark of office. got a few raincoats also...but tink my raincoat smell very attractive.don tink will ever get back. only used 3 times. damn cheapos!

my bike ok already....for now. $740 :angel: had to change the carburator diaphragm (is it the same as slider?), valve, valve seal, plug engine oil, coolant...damn i'm broke!

 

part of the diaphragm broke, went into the engine, hit the valve...making one of it a bit bent. so...had to change.

 

but best thing is, the next day, my coolant spill from the cap area. then temp went up to red area. smoke (or vapor) came out from the cap also. was so frustrated! wat luck! called the mech, told him n also told him to tell the boss...next morning sent bike there. apparently the radiator was blocked so coolant cant flow thru. they washed it n cleared the contaminants. now ok alredy.running temp also lower.

We are maintaining @ 100~110. Move off 3pm and reach about 6pm. go jonker street eat, shop and slack, follow by satay lok lok. Move off @ 9~10pm. will be able to reach back singapore before 1pm.

 

1 and only stop. Pahgo R&R. I will be sweeping(if i am not wrong.) Now training to bring more scooter up north.
