Almafi have the option of Leo vince 4road pipe. which sound nicer then GPR. While EVO have only Legal GPR.

Both have try before and no improvement, only more bassy sound.

When the rear suspension is down, you should feel very soft instead of hard.

Maybe you check the preload level of your rear suspension first.

Just bought a X9evo, collecting next month. Can I check what size cover to buy. Bike got a box. Can recommend a brand that is water and heat proof (so can immediate cover after riding)?

I am using 3XL.

No point getting a 100% water proof and heat insulated cover.

Just eyes catching and will get stolen.

hi guys, I am also riding a X9 250(Honda engine). I would like check if you can help me with this occurance. Bike seems reluntant to move off but gain power after 80km/h. From to 80 to 110 km/h, it responds effortlessly but picking up from stationary it seems unwillingly. Perhaps! to be exact, the throttle is turned hard but the power kicks in gradually. Carburetor cleaned up and spark plug replaced. Anyone with such experience? Thanks!

have you check the transmission?

Hi Kenny, thanks for responding.

Today, I realised something.

On level road, the bike moved off with slight vibration but push on. However, when moving off from the slop, even with full throttle, the bike moved off slowly and the vibration was very obvious.

Check with bike mechanic over telecommunication; could be the carburettor timming not tune properly as I did a caburettor cleaning lately.

Transmission belt and rollers were checked too and all proven worthiness.

Clutch and bell are also in running condition.

hi X9 bros, thinkin of getting a used X9 cos of comfort, wat to look out for when buying x9?

i wonder if bike can use semi open pod like some cars, such as the simota carbon charger. will solve the problem of water splashing. it used wire mesh filter and won't tear.

Unless you install those air filter look like a second end can.

Can protect the filter from water.

mdzar...try buying it direct from owners. those from shop r generally more expensive n more problematic. n not all shops can do the repairs. i tink recently got 1 bro here who experienced this. bought from shop n straight away got prob. den go back to the shop still cant get it rectified.

anyway x9 r cheaper den x8. i tink got a few x9 evo selling in this forum for abt 2k. really gd price.

The best that i could achieve from Full to Dry is only 310km only..

Soundless: how did u get to achieve your average?

Is X9 Amalfi conumption higher than X9 evo? cos my full tank to the first red bar is only abt 275km. work out to abt 23km/l.

oooo same as me.. but how come 23km/h? full tank is only 16litres - maximum 310km ...

Just add a few mileage together and divide.

Mean

1/4/2010 i top up 10L for 300km = 30km/L

8/4/2010 i top up 10L for 280km = 28km/L

15/4/2010 i top up 10L for 310km = 31km/L

22/04/2010 i top up 10L for 290km = 29km/L

Avg = 30+28+31+29/4=29.5km/L

I have never reach full dry before.... maybe 1 of this days i try......

Who know i see new record of 500km...
