If I don't buy from the agent Hong Leong, will they still service the Tmax if I go there?

Also, if buy from other shops, is the manual provided? In english?

usually other bikeshops took their yamaha bikes from hong leong to sell, so u are still entitled for hong leong warranty provided u service your bike at hong leong.

unless the shop parallel import themselves

nope.. new 530 comes in miles..

althou the meter does have kph reading, but the odometer is in miles..

Would like to check with you if the setup you bought is actually meant for the 2008 model?

If yes, is there any fitment issues when you install the rack or they are compatible with the 2012 tmax?

Also, how long did it arrive after your ordered them?

upon buying my new tmax500cc last yr september, i straight away order from mr lee at hongleong for the KMPH Meter. i simply lazy to read distance in miles. and the kmph reading are very small and red in colour, difficult to see when riding real fast at expressway. the moment u peek at ur speed , you endanger ur lives of getting accident.

 

 

I bought brand new this kmph meter at $650 if not wrong.

I just went to Mah motor, they quote the rack to me for Tmax is 200+, not include box.

So I was just wondering if this was the same Givi rack?

That is not official Tmax rack..anric79 is selling the official rack.. check them out with HL and you will know is approximately 600.

Don't mind me asking, for this rack, does it required to drill one hole on the tailboard?

Also, does your sale comes with the four rubber stoppers which fits on the rack and the metal catch that allows the box to latch on to the box? Cheers!

hi snake sin,

 

It need to drill one hole at the centre on the tailboard. hongleong drill for me and it was a nice job done by them.

To be frank i didnt really knew they had drilled a hole until 4 mth time discuss with a tmax rider den i know it had been drilled. What i want to say was that HL had done a marvellous job tat i didnt noticed it had been operate before.

 

i so sorry tat the 4 rubber was not available u can go to HL or anybike shop, they will surely have the necessary rubber stoppers to fit on the rack. And my metal catch i bought brand new for $25 , i did not use at all, keep inside my storeroom.

Reason why i never use the metal catch is tat my maxia 52L coudlnt fit onto this silver rack , the only way to use the rack is to add a universal base plate . and tat base plate come with its lock.

 

Any way is a good buy for a 6mth old new rack, i will give condition 9/10.

 

Lastly thks helmet box for the clairification, it is really yamaha offical tmax silver rack. My loss is your gain blek . Most importantly is that my hse small no space to put tat rack, wife complaining here and there.
