Hi guys, I am looking a for used Tmax500 (likely Gen3 just before the 530 model, or maybe a 650 Burger man) what to look out for when choosing? This is my first encounter with Big Scoot.

i sold my gen3 in nov....u need to look out for the fuel pump as well...i changed my fuel pump before...

overall ride was shiok...powerful n comfortable enough...

underseat can only store 1 helmet though...

handlng u can corner wit confidence...good brakes as well

downside is the belt interval shorter than others...

Hi guys need info on IU unit to relocate from right side compartment cos having problems at Hdb gantry. Need advice.

Someone showed pics in previous postings that he placed a thick cloth to make the IU higher & nearer to the exterior.

My friend did in a similar way & so far he has no issue on that. Mine is placed in the centre of the dashboard. There are brackets for you to place it at the right side brake reservoir area too.

Cheers ;)

Main and only complain from her is the rear suspension too hard so very bouncy which make the bike not comfortable for Pillion. Rear quite hard for Tmax

For stock Tmax 530 ABS, can the rear shock assembly be adjusted? I find that the buttock can "feel" the uneven road surface.

Also have to come to almost a complete stop when crossing the small rubber hump in carpark. The big tarmac hump is not as bad as the small rubber hump.

Check with u guys, is it possible to install the IU under the windscreen area?

If u r refering to the dashboard with 2 screws, yes u can but u need a bracket for stability. U can see my pic for reference. Apologise for the small pic shown...

Mine was done by bikeshop and I'm not sure how they do the connection. There is no physical holes drilled in vision. These 2 pics show a clearer view.

Anyone has fog lights installed to their tmax? Don't find my 2013 model lights strong enough to ride up Thailand through the night. Any recommendations for fog lights model and shop to install?
