I've Deceided!

i`m keeping my max for good!

its the longest i`ve ever had n de only bike model i`ve bought 2 same models of different eras..n fully done up..

I hope can last 10 years or more!!!

Confirm with FJRider, Mah Motors is the local distributor for GIVI.

 

Also i think that one owner here has the GIVI backrest fitted onto his bike, YOGI is his nick if i do remember, but i do not have his contact.

 

Otherwise i have the Yamaha backrest on my Tmax but you need to buy the rear rack in order to fit the original Yamaha backrest.

Thanks for your infor! Do you happen to have any pics of your back rest? I have went down to Mah and check out the back rest. If were to order now, it will arrive in April, and modification needed to fit the back rest.

 

Anyway I intend to modify either GIVI or the Yamaha back rest coz I have fitted my old Hepco and Becker top box (with a rubber back rest padding). I believe I may have to shift the backrest a little or it will hit onto the H&B top box.

 

Not really an important item, juz thought of some comfort for wife if she happen to go on the bike.

 

Actually the top on my mod list now is steel braided hoses for braking and LV GP full system XOS. Went down to Motorworld and they only carry the hoses for the older TMAX, i.e. 05-08.

 

Any lao jiao here fitted the steel braided hoses already? I think it should make a lot of difference in braking (improvement) since TMax is running on disc front and rear. Awesome branking system.

Happy New Year bro! de brake lines before also didnt have the correct length for the Tmax..wad they did was to measure n cut from a longer brake line.i tink was from swage or sumthing..

To me i felt that the stock brakes are very good alrdy..even brought it to Gudang,performed well..no signs of fading (maybe not ridden hard enough)

BTW Master pump is Brembo,brake lines n discs not too sure..who knows..may be some good **** too..

 

 

BTW i have de Leo Vince SBK II Evo full system on my bike complete with power commander..best thing is street legal..lol..when free we can meet up n check it out..u may not like de noise..some find it not bassy as compared to previous Tmax.But weight reduction is significant..

dont think so, i was riding with 18 bikes, mostly fazers...there are 2 black tmax in my group

IMHO,new 1 will be a better buy..used 1 only 3k cheaper..n with 17k miles on clock..not worth it lor..n ur 3nd owner..de 3k dosent seem attractive after ur transfer + insurance + intrest..

 

Meet up is simple to organise..but to gather every 1 at a good timing is very difficult..
