Hi guys,just wanna share some piss off matters,yesterday park y bike at Jurong West st 24 Blk 271 multi storey,discover my Hepco & Becker top box is missing..very very angry,such a famous brand oso can take out so easily,the crime scene is still so clean,or they sweep clean clean b4 leaving??had to learn to cover up liao,i oso a bit suay,left my cover at company,didn't bring back....

 

sori about your lost, i read in a US base forum that the catch on the bottom where it holds the box and base plate together is held by 2 allen screws and can be removed even with the top box installed, that is for the OEM yamaha top box, not sure if the H & B is the same set-up..maybe you can take a closer look at the catch and do something about that with your next top box..here the lead to the forum..post 1533

hi guys, just bought a 2010 Tmax.. will be collecting in a few days time... Gunmetal,which i feel that it's bluish matt... :) will be riding it stock for the moment.. anyway, how much is the rack for the Tmax, i meant Hepco & Becker rear rack..

Haha.. no bro, i tot i'm the only one with this colour... :) dun know anyone else even riding a Tmax, cos the bike is still waiting for COE.. can't wait to ride the 'smooth beast'... :)

 

btw,what size is the front 2 bulbs?? one is H4 den the other is H7 or H9 issit?? also i would like to enquie where to get the headlight protector...

bro, think very hard to get 2nd hand rack.... even the boxes forumers selling also 300++... might as well get it new.. :)

 

riding the Tmax can save lots of $$$, cos the Ebay pages only 5 pages, also not much accessories to buy.. compared to my previous rides, this is good..

just bought a tmax... hoho. nice and smooth bike.. however, i'm feeling quite a bit of wind buffering compared to my previous silverwing... hmmm, any comments on the stock windshield? heard review that it is bad... will changing to a sports windshield make it better?

it feels like the wind is actually directed up above the helmet. but still quite a bit of buffering...

i feel tat stock windshield the wing blow directly to the face when u open the virsor. unless u bend down abit. quite uncomfortable. as for sports windshield will be the upper body. thats is quite normal. i am using sports now n i prefer sport oso. thats wat i feel...:smile:

U will lose the weather protection, I find light drizzling, it protects you from the mist created from the tires of lorries,buses and cars on the E way.

i got a used bike. 09 model..

 

did some speed test on my way back.. the wind is hitting me at around eye level, thus making the helmet vibrates alot. i think i wil be getting a higher windshield instead. any recommendation of ready stock anywhere?

 

the givi air-flow screen looks good, does anyone know if cyclenet will have any availability? and what abt other brands?

 

also.. did anyone put the IU in the glove compartment? i used to put it inside my swing. will it work inside the tmax's glove compartment? the previous owner have it installed on the lower handlebars nut, mount on plastic, loose, and think the plastic cracked/scrtched a bit. :cry:

 

anyway, if got kopi session, or any swing mass order, pls sms me at 93800393. i stay in cck. :)
