its totally different.

the real one is full aluminium, only the grip part is rubber, it replaces the whole throttle sleeve & comes with 3 gearings, 1 for 2-stroke & 2 different sizes for 4-stroke. used mine for 3 year plus already & the grip rubber is still perfect. those that i who know fitted these earlier than me never wear the grips before.

if u always wear leather gloves, of course will wear faster.

the fake one is like normal grips. just replaceing the normal grips.

workmanship finishing between the real & the fake ones differs alot.

maybe your handle bar a little tat too long. got to cut a bit. that wat i had to do to my Burgman 650. FJR didn't have this prob fitted nicely. silverwing, grip too long, till i need to add 2 washers at the rizoma balancer so that i dun have the throttle lock.

yup, used to have the Rizoma grips on my zx10r, felt great with it because of precise throttle response.

 

But for the Tmax, the BMW grips rocks, less twist of the throttle needed and way much comfort felt.

 

Different bikes suits their best grips, that's to my personal view lah.... :)

Got one 2-week old (1700km) Tmax Gunmetal colour for sale at M1 Motor Changi (67437030).

Should be OTR $16.5k (negotiable bah).

For those want to find a cheap used bike..

my born-again rider colleague just ordered a silver tmax, partly due to my influence, he has not ridden a bike for about 20 years

let see if he is successful with the COE this wednesday and he should get his tmax out on next friday or weekend

I am afraid not, if you are referring to programmable wordings or designs illuminated by the LEDs.

 

This particular model looks exactly the same as the one Ermax is offering and is made by a company in Germany. However, the price is a lot more affordable as opposed to the former which is about $450, the last time i was quoted by MW.
