Ok bros, I just changed to a new battery. Brand is shinko. $45. Everything is back to normal. All is working fine. The mech say magnetic coil no problem because he Rev all ok. So when idiling my voltmeter shows 12.5-13V. When riding it shows 14.5 -14.9V. So it was the battery after all. Wasted money buy rectifier. Haha! Well Thanks alot for your advice and help bros! :)

I don't think it is a waste of money. You got to think what made the batt weak at first. It could have been the faulty rectifier which failed to charge it in the first place right?

Replace the fuse just in case

Write a date on the batt you just bought. Average lifespan is 1 to 1.5 yrs. Once reach that time you standby.

Its like a bridge between rectifier and battery

A fuse only needs to be replaced if its broken. If not, it is perfectly fine and do not need to be replaced.

I remembered meeting a rider like you. His tank started leaking due to rusts forming on the walls of the tank since it was exposed for a long duration. It does not happen fast lah but over a long duration of probably several years of having the habit of riding till its empty.

Furthermore I do not like to keep it close to empty at any point of time. Let's say there is an emergency & I need to head down quickly, lets say to the hospital or friend accident or bike breakdown etc, it is gonna be a hassle having to rush to petrol station first don't you think?

i read somewhere off the net that it is best to fill up your tank when it is half empty as evaporation takes place very rapidly inside your fuel tank when there is more and more air..

I have one question running in my mind over and over again. How come our singapore bikes if we never take care of our bike for abit it will end up in the workshop for either minor or major problem and will cost us a bomb to repair. But in malaysia i have seen bikes whereby is super old, Here or there is broken, never changed engine oil for months or chain lose or watever but still runs fine and give no problems? How come ah? Its like malaysian vehicles are blessed is it? Haha!

X1R batt usually last ard 1 year for normal cases.

And i heard a lot of stories saying X1R eat battery very fast.

You must start it everyday or ride it everyday.

Because just by connecting the battery and not starting the bike for a week, the battery will deplete by then.

Malaysia Kok Ping told me that, last time he has a customer in NS, book in 1 week nv ride batt no more. and the problems occurs to him a few times, because he always book in. Then he ask the customer to disconnect the battery after he booked in and that solved the problem.

So to tell you you have to start and charge your batt almost everyday to keep the batt up.

(Honda NSR150SP, 2000) FR2**1U -------->2009 to 2011

(Suzuki GSXR600K7, 2006) FBC3**C ------>2011 to 2013

(Yamaha X1R, 2008) FBC6**6E ------------>2013 to 2014

(Aprilia RSV4 Factory, 2010) FBE3**7P --->2014 to 2015

Ride safe and you will be able to enjoy every ride in your life till old. :thumb:

i believe the msians really do take care of their bikes. after all, its their means of living. if the bike should ever break down they wont be able to go to work. so just think abt that....

They do not wash their bikes regularly but they do service it. Young riders in SG are opposite. Only know how to wash bike and take care of the outlook. But interior wise, very stingy to fork out $$$.

A weakened batt + the use of electric start is the recipe for disaster. :)
