Have any bros here change their rear suspension, any recommendation wat aftermarket suspension to use???

If your weight + pillion is quite heavy, get the YSS with canister. If both of you are slim, the YSS without canister will do. Don't get the KYB. Many riders say its good but actually it sucks.

Rough estimation for you. New rims + bearing/bush/tube valves bla bla bla is around RM235. Rear disc brake set is around RM200-280 depending on which shop you go. Go ask around and compare the prices for the best deal. Good luck! :thumb:

Has anyone tried changing their clutch to the hydraulic one? How's the feel like?

Hmmmm. Yet to find a Spark with hydraulic clutch. :)

i am sorry if you feel down when being curious :thumb:
Are you psychic? Or you think you are psychic?

I am sorry to pour cold water on you but you are not in the least bit correct. Just go and worry more about your switch.

Hi Guys,

I've got several questions. Hope you guys can advise.

1) Where to get the tool to change spark plug and how much does it cost? Any idea how it looks like as well?

2) How much does it cost to service the 2 front forks and which shop can do it? I think my front forks need a changed of oil and checks since the rebound is weird and not as responsive to other Sparkz that I compared to.

Thanks in advance!

but behind change to disc brake is nice n better, when cm to inspection u must change back to original as disc brake cant pass.

Nope. I have many friends who converted their rear drums to disc. No problems with inspection so far. As long you step on the rear brake pedal and your brake light lights up & your rear wheel stops, it should not be an issue. Get those 125z rear disc setup instead of the fancy ones from Racingboy.

The tool can be bought at Mustafa. Make sure get the right size. For your front forks, shops at JB are doing it for RM60-80. SG wise, not too sure.

ok last time i check:-

new rims - RM150-200

new bearing - can't rem, RM20-30 EACH if my memory doesn't fail me

new bush - can't rem

disc brake set - can u confirm that's the price range? which shop u recommend, panjang, ahboy, raja, din? in sg to my knowledge, shop charge $300 just for the set as well as workmanship. that's y i suggest to my fren to do it in jb, if that's what he wants..

Doing in jb is cheaper compared to sg. But to me I still prefer doing it in sg because of the workmanship. I don think the cost different alot. And oso the quality. At least anything wrong u can still go back to the shop to adjust it. And the things u had changed must bring back with you like the both rims.

Like I said, new rims + bearing/bush/tube valves bla bla bla is around RM235. Ask the shop to give you the exact price with installation and not talk so much as most shops like to say it cost RM200. After installation they say ''Ohh I add new bearing, new tube valve & so on so additional RM50.''

Head to Xifu, WK motorsport, Feng Seng & Ah Boy & compare among all 4. Should not exceed RM500 for rims, rear brake disc set + installation. If you willing to wait, tomorrow my friend is going to JB to change his rims & swap to rear disc conversion. Will come back to SG and update you.

So how about the pop domino is it like the yss??? I just need a normal rear absorber no need with the canister.

Rear disc brake set with installation around RM260-RM300. Depends whether your friend is on stock footrest or racing footrest because if racing footrest, they need to do more mods and fabrications to place your brake pump. Advise you to go early as it takes 3-4 hours to install.

Kaki Bukit. But take note, its all up to case by case basis. I pass doesn't mean you go you also will pass. At the end of the day, it is up to the inspecting officer to pass you or fail you. Good luck.

If you want reliability, I suggest YSS. Other brands also okay but had friends who use it after 1-2 years, it starts to leak, soften or give out squeaks. Not all of them but some.
